"As chance it would have, Portobello opened its doors hardly 6 months after we bought our apartment in Sotogrande Marina, it is immediately opposite our entrance, just a few meters away. The food was usually quite good, and we have many meals there since.... However, the service has usually been from poor to terrible, with our latest visit, only the worst. Our waiter brought my wife's meal, but not mine. After 20 minutes. (actually) hadn't arrived yet, my wife had to decide if I had to eat alone or wait for my food to come to get her meal cold and ruined. We wanted to eat together! The waiter, whose attention was almost impossible to win, could really not see the problem and it was obviously not safe, is not the word. Enjoy food, but don't expect a service that's indescribably bad."
