"Lele in the lele patisserie was great to work with! she took the time to keep several calls with us and to discuss our vision for dessert for the welcome party we organized in santa barbara. we knew that we wanted a dessert with the two colleges of the child, but did not know if we wanted cake or cookies, but lele was there to lead us. she was patient and knowledgeable and helped us go through all the options and possibilities. at the end, leles' cookie design and packaging perfectly turned out and even better than we had imagined! they could not have been more perfect and we were so satisfied! the cookies were in a clear bag with a band that glued their printed insignia on it. the presentation of cookies looked great and was a big hit when they were wrapped in so our guests could take them away when they left the party. the guests came to us the next day at high time and told us that they were the best tasting cookies they had ever eaten."

"No service like a traditional restaurant but look like it would give you one. No one explains how the ordering works, that you just walk into then order, kinda just a fancy king taco with a pretty view. Food is good, ratios are way off. 70%veggie 30% actual thing you wanted to try. Bathrooms very clean, staff is nice and helpful"

"We reserved space for our department dinner and everyone had a great time. The food was delicious and served hot, drinks were great and all the staff was super friendly. I would definitely recommend Shalhoob for dinner and drinks. The fish tacos and ribs were delicious!"

"I live in Oxnard and wanted to celebrate our business anniversary so we drove to State St. In Santa Barbara and saw this place! For our first time experience, customer service was great, super friendly and got helped right away and the food was just perfect, super delicious! Authentic Mexican food for sure! I Highly recommend this place."

"Awful service as well as giving me only 1/2 of my order. They charge you for everything and give you awful service and again, only 1/2 of take out order. Really BAD. I spent a lot of money there for my Dad's Birthday and they really screwed it up. Worst Ever."

"Amazing upscale Mexican restaurant. It tends to fill up quickly so get there early. We got there around 5:30 on a Friday and waited 10 minutes. Servers were super friendly. Hosts were polite but (understandably) very terse. We started with the mushrooms appetizer which were incredibly tasty and garlicky. I got the salmon tacos which tasted fresh and were super filling. The mangos, pineapples, and nuts added a nice touch. The only thing I wouldn’t do again is the raspberry limeade. It was basically watery lime juice with a raspberry in it. Not worth the $8."

"I love this place. The food is fresh, well-made, and delicious. Anytime I'm in the Santa Barbara area, I make sure to stop by Renaud's at least once. It has a great atmosphere with indoor seating as well as outdoor dining. I can't recommend this place enough. Well worth your time to visit."
