"We found this place and saw that it was high end so we decided to try it out. Huge disappointment! We had some vegetarians in our group and the waiters could not understand that the dishes needed to be without meat. The menu does not...specify ingredients and you are left to guess since the waiters are not well informed on options or the way to adapt meals to suit any diet. We ended up getting meals that were inadequate, with poor taste, overpriced and extremely frustrating. I had fish and it was not worth what I paid for it, I could have had the same taste anywhere else. The quality was also average, I didn't feel like the fish was fresh and we actually got sick after eating there....We would definitely not recommend."

"El lugar es bonito, se come delicioso, la atención es buena. El tiempo de espera va de los 10 -15 minutos pero vale la pena si quieres probar lo tradicional de Veracruz. Cada vez que visito el puerto es obligatorio para mí comer en este lugar. Muy recomendable."

"I've gone to the Wings Army a few times in Veracruz. Last February. It is a fun atmosphere in a modern plaza. Since the name 'Wing 's 'Armee' is, I decided to order the Wings. The wings are delicious, but the portions are...small. Some wing restaurants serve with net weight instead of number. Wing The army serves the number and every time I left the pieces were small. I would avoid the onion rings. You use frozen onion rings, for the price, you better get out of buying your onion rings at a fast food place. My wife ordered a cheeseburger. She was disappointed to find that it was not completely boiled. I do not really recommend ordering a hamburger in a Wings restaurant, but unless some requests a medium cooked burger (also not recommended) they should thoroughly cook the meat. The best part of the Wings Army is beer selection. You have a beer menu with many imported beers from other parts of Mexico, as well as other countries. If you want to drink a beer, this is here."

"The best place to enjoy your Café Lechero, a true classic of the city. For breakfast I recommend the huevos tirados, and for dinner if you really hungry the tamal azteca a delicious other type of tamal, for dessert the conchas con nata are delicious and so is their champolas, a traditional guana shake that is excellent."

"Perfect spot for our first meal in Veracruz. This is an upscale pricier spot but it’s worth the . The ceviche verde atún was one of the best ceviches I’ve ever had! Great tequila selection and ice cold beer. Will eat here again before we leave if just to have another plate of the ceviche!!"
