"Visited El Merkado and had a wonderful experience! The service and friendliness of the staff there was amazing! Since I love food halls, we had to check out El Merkado and it didn’t disappoint! Great food options from Sushi to traditional Mexican to gelato. It’s definitely a casual spot that’s a lot of fun and worth checking out!!!"

"OK, these guys really know how to cook. We tried two of the ceviches, both were excellent. The shrimp in a juice base, and a fish with hints of soy. I have tried a lot of ceviche in Mexico and this is definitely the best I've had. The quality of the ingredients stands out, the flavors spot on, and the accompanying sauces gave an even added kick. The tacos we ordered were just as delicious - in this case crab, pineapple, pepper, cabbage served on blue corn tortillas truly a stand out. Fyi, this restaurant is located in the El Merkado building next to the Hampton Inn and Pemex. It's on the second floor, and given that the seating is all along the long bar, you have full view of the kitchen. It was wonderful to see the fastidiousness which was used in not only the preparation of our dishes, but also the cleanliness of the kitchen operation. Most definitely recommend. By the way, the oysters looked phenomenal- next time for certain!"
