"We always get treated so nice at this store even if we have to drive 30 minutes to get to it. It is very worth it! Good quality of food and not as expensive as other Mexican stores."

"I was craving tacos and while there are many many places here, I was recommended this place by a friend. I am reviewing as someone who does not eat a lot of Mexican food/unfamiliar with prices BUT I do know if I enjoy the food or not. Service felt fine and our server was nice and attentive. I don't expect much from small local shops.We ordered 4 tacos (2 lengua and 2 carne asada) and then the El toro special plate. Everything was great! Compared to places I would normally go to, I felt like the prices were fair. 4 tacos were about $12."

"My two sons and I had to wait 20 minutes to get 3 glasses of water. We had to wait another 45 minutes to get our cold food. And and extra 30 minutes to get our desserts to go. And we had to wait almost an hour to get our check to pay for cold food and 3hours for service. We will return again soon to give this Restaurant a second chance."

"Food is sub-par for the beautiful location and environment they have. Ordered the salmon salad, was just a filet atop of spinach and DRENCHED in dressing. Uneventful. INVEST in better chefs and more staff. Take advantage of the amazing spot you have and make it flourish. Vanessa was the only server on the floor during lunch today and she did a fantastic job! Kudos Vanessa!"

"One of my favorite Mexican places when I visit family in Maryville or Knoxville! El Jimador is authentic Mexican food! I’ve been here multiple times and have never had anything bad. Their tamales are amazing!! Great chips salsa too. Service is great, especially if you get Alex. He is the best!! This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t judge a book by its cover. Check this place out!"

"Love the Oakwood Barbecue Food truck! The pulled pork sandwich with homemade cole slaw, loaded potato salad and Mexican corn was out of this world! My mixed drink from Southside Garage was good also. Only bad thing no air conditioning but still worth astop."

"DO NOT get the quesatacos! They’re absolutely disgusting and so is the salsa that comes in a tiny 1oz container. The guacamole was so bland that I ended up adding garlic salt for flavor. This is by far the worst “Mexican” restaurant I’ve ever tried."
