"Wow! AGIF, where have you been my whole life? I stumbled upon this restaurant here on Zomato and thought, since I was hungry for Mexican I'd try it out. All the reviews are true. This is a tex-mex gem! The food isn't fancy but it's plentiful and delicious. The Alma dip is a mix of bean dip, cheese dip, and chili. OMG! Tonight was Tamale and Tostada night. I skipped tostada and went with a tamale, toad taco and beef taco. A toad taco is a beef taco with pork chili inside. Everything was fantastix. Most flavorful tamale I've ever had, even in Mexico. My waitress was personable and kind, refilling my drink often and passing by with a smile. I URGE YOU, GO HERE! You'll love it!"

"OK, so there was a "glitch" on our first-ever visit to Andre's. The host seated us promptly on arrival and we were given menus. And there we sat. For nearly 25 minutes, watching everyone who arrived after us receive their service, and even their meals. Finally, we left and on the way out made a comment to the "host" about how upset we were at the lack of attentive service. It turns out the "host" was the owner. He begged us to stay and give them a second chance. After a short discussion with my date, we relented and sat back down. The service for the rest of the evening was exemplary. The food, once we had a chance to order, arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The plates were very attractively presented, and the food, in my opinion, was superb. I had the potato/onion enchilada, my date had the fish taco platter. The chips in the appetizer were freshly made and very warm. The dipping salsa was flavorful and not overly spicy. The owner again apologized profusely and comped our bill. If not for the initial lack of service, our first visit would have resulted in a 4.5 star rating. Nonetheless, I think we will return for a second visit."
