"There we were starving... a family of six. We liked the looks, we saw the menu and founded it interesting, inexpensive and entertaining. And we came in. I happened to be seated just in front of a no-smoking sign, as required by Mexican Law (I...do not tolerate smoke)... but, then I smelled it: there were people smoking in the table behind me. I called the waiter and asked if they allowed smoking even though it is forbidden. He answered that one of the people smoking was the owner. I though the correct thing to do was to ask them if they could stop. But, surprise! He yelled at me saying he was the owner and he could do whatever pleased him. After that we just had to leave the place, with him cursing on our backs."

"This ceviche restaurant rings all the bells, centrally located, friendly staff, pleasant decor, and large perfectly made portions of the best ceviche I’ve had to date. And I’ve had it all over the south. Special hat tip to their beer mixes “preperada” which I have...never seen before, separate glass of vegetable juices that one mixes with the beer. It slows down drinking and keeps one hydrated at this 7200’ elevation. I actually drank one beer all evening instead of my usual three. Restaurant came recommended by a Cubana local. Put it high on the list."

"We stopped in for a late lunch, and were the only ones in the pleasant courtyard. We selected a table and the waiter brought the menus (in English and Spanish right away. We only wanted a small bite, since we were going to dinner later; the Burrata salad I chose was delicious, a beautiful presentation and just the right amount of food. My husband's tacos de arrecherra did not disappoint either. The three were served on a VERY hot plate, and he had to wait a minute or two for them to cool down in order to eat them. Very tasty. We also ordered a side of guacamole, which was served with warm tortillas of different flavors (and colors) another feast for the eyes and mouth. With drinking only water, the bill was about 350 pesos - not cheap, but there were many things on the menu that were much more expensive -- better choices for a nice dinner out with friends. We will come back.The only reason for a 4star rather than 5star review was that the WIFI wasn't working."

"I realize that casual, relaxed dining is the hallmark of SMA - but once I've finished my meal and asked for the bill I would expect it to arrive 5-10 minutes later. When I have to get up (after 15-20 min) and track down my waiter, well - that's not great. The atmosphere and music is the best part of Los Milagros. The food is good and reasonably priced. They do get busy for dinner on Fri/Sat so it's a good idea to get there a little earlier to put you name in."

"Excellent food, I had the chilliquelies, very good. They advertise their hot chocolate and churros. The hot chocolate is good. The churros at Costco are better. These are kind of dense and served cold. The service, was very good, but we got there between breakfast...and lunch so there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. My mates all enjoyed their meals. So the food is good, just don't go specifically for the hot chocolate and churros."
