"Went here for a special night out for my birthday and did not disappoint. Traditional fine dining menu of steak, fish, soup, salad, etc. Live jazz music starting at If you don't have a reservation, you will likely have to stand as the bar is very crowded and people linger. We started with the tuna tartar, it was okay nothing too special about it. Lobster bisque was so creamy and delicious. My boyfriend and I shared the prime rib, which was huge. After two drinks each, it was about after tip. Tip: If you make a reservation for a party of two, you are likely to sit in the best seats in the house near the stage. Larger parties tended to be sat at the back of the restaurant with the booth seating, with no view of the band."

"In all categories. cocktails took forever to serve, although they were not busy. steak and fries steak were burned at one end and overcooked, were cold when they came to the table. the naming of ahi thunfisch in salat was meager, and although they say it was meerrot, it was ice cold. nashville hot chicken sleds had almost no heat. the service was as cold as eating."

"Was in town for business, and loved the impromptu decision to dine here alone. Loved my Lychee Sakatini, Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, and Truffle roll. Service and attention by the bartenders was excellent, and “look” of the restaurant was awesome! I saved enough for desert, which was also fantastic.Food: 5/5"

"Our first touch menu. my man and I participated in our first multiple-course tasting menu 1808 grille. we stumbled this restaurant happy for looking for menu options in nashville. my man called the cook a week before our reservations to make sure we knew what we were going to get in. we chose the seven curs option and booked our reservations for a Thursday evening, which was perfect because the restaurant was not too crowded. we had two smmeliers who were present all night next to our server. the cook prepared small portions of curses on the regular dinner menu, including the most praised pierogi, spinach salad...read more"

"We were seated right away. Moderately busy. Ordered the BBQ stuffed baked potato for me, and the bacon wrapped filet for her. Also an appetizer of fried pickles... they so good!!!! Steak was cooked perfectly! The band that was playing was great! Our waitress was fairly new but she did fine! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"This is apparently an old Nashville institution. It's a steak and spaghetti house. Odd combo. Equal parts kitsch and camp, this is an old style family restaurant with a full bar and waiters in formal uniforms. The decor is old and dated. Service was prompt and courteous. The prices were reasonable and the food was decent. They bring out some tasty cheese crusted garlic rolls to start and all the iced tea is unsweet, so a small pitcher of simple syrup is provided to sweeten it. Steaks and pasta are the main attractions. The sirloin steak was maybe a bit over seasoned but cooked properly and tasty. And you can order pasta as a side- and oddly enough it works.
