"On my quest for the best coffees in Antigua I came here upon recommendation of the Aria coffee roasters. They have a fantastic espresso. Single for 10 quetzals, (double for 15) and so far in Antigua this is the absolute best value for money. The café interior is no frills and down to earth. The decor is oriented a bit toward the 50’s Americana with their hangings metal signs and stupid coffee jokes and rustic wooden Antigua heritage look.. When I came in Taylor Swift was playing. They even have good taste in music! I love it! It is refreshing, considering all the many coffee places in Antigua trying their best to be third wave, and then this coffee shop just presents you with a perfect cup of espresso, with coffee from huehuetenango, roasted locally in Antigua and it is just wow! An explosion of flavours and quite a kick. Medium roasted of course, not bitter, round mouthfeel with some nice acidity. I like! They also sell Antigua cerveza for later in the day."

"I have generally always liked Joe's because they make a decent cheese steak sandwich and the atmosphere of the place is pretty cool. But now I'm just disappointed. I made the mistake of ordering delivery today. I ordered a Western burger and onion rings. The burger was so overloaded with shredded onions and lettuce (I guess that's what it was) that the whole thing slid apart as soon as it was picked up, and although I did find some bacon in there, it was difficult to find the burger. Had to eat the thing in pieces with a knife and fork. And the onion rings were literally the worst I've ever had. They were so thickly coated with batter that not only were they not crispy, they were soft and floppy and, really, not in the same ballpark with onion rings. More like some kind of weird pastry. On top of all that, Joe's seems to have raised its prices significantly. Unfortunately, this meal is no justification for the higher prices and I just wasted a lot of money on it."

"We ate here twice when we were in Antigua. The atmosphere and service is very nice. The chocolate cake was amazing. The sushi was good, but didn’t really taste like sushi. We loved the Alfredo pasta, the tacos and the Mac and cheese."
