"Descanso Beach is a true paradise. We spent the entire day in a cabana, and it was pure bliss. The waiter was kind and professional, ensuring our experience was top-notch. The food and drinks were fantastic, perfectly complementing the dreamy Caribbean-like ambiance. It's hard to believe such a heavenly spot is just a one-hour boat ride away from Los Angeles. Highly recommended for a tropical escape!"

"I love the support of independent coffee houses. Overall, this place has a good coffee, but for some reason they are mistaken that every latte is a mocha. No matter what you order, you go out with a mocha. A mocha is a chocolate bar. A latte is espresso coffee and steamed milk. I ordered Caramel Latte three times during my stay in Catalina and three times went with a mocha. The girl that made it looked upset when I said I ordered a caramel latte and repeated Mocha to me. They also write it wrong on the cup. I think a little refreshment is necessary that a latte is not a mocha. All mochas are latte, but not all lattes are mochas. But I'd rather go there than Starbucks. Luckily, I like mochas. Lol"

"A real vegan breakfast is very hard to find on the island. especially during covid. the bistro offers vegan avocado toast that tasty and fill. it is a nice tasty bite in a vegan food desert."

"I love this place customizable breakfast Burritos and Bagel Sandwiches that can be made vegan with Quinoa blends and Just Egg and vegan cheese. You also have great pastries! Brownie is so good, especially warmed. Very recommended!"

"1st thing you need to do is try the Buffalo Milk (island drink). The steak was prepared well, the omelet was meaty and the pancakes were full of flavor. My only suggestion is to have jam/jelly available."
