"<br/>The owner of Plaaskombuis made a very good decision in moving his venue from Bergbron to Weltevreden Road, Blackheath. It is situated in a beautiful Cape Dutch house surrounded by a lovely and peaceful garden. The menu still has all the traditional lekker kos!"

"I had a fun time. For a compact space it felt spacious. I like that they have table tennis at their store. It's really refreshing. The play area can be closed to contain the noise. I ordered a flat white, it was made at a suitable temperature, warm enough to drink. The milk used was taste with some sweet nodes to it. A great beverage when starting to take your coffee without sugar. Friendly customer service. They have an innovative means of accessing the menu via QR code on the dinning in tables, although they do have a menu at the counter, which is where you place your order. You order at the counter, and your order is served at your table. Hot and cold beverages are available, breakfast: toasted sandwiches, muesli, yogurt, fruits and etc are sold. It's a great gem."

"I went to the Munch cafe in the lovely setting of the garden shop nursery to meet a bunch of 10 ladies with their kids for a late Saturday brunch. The table has been booked well in advance, however the table was not ready or set prior to our arrival. After placing a few drinks orders that we waited for and never arrived we had a word with the manager and wow did they turn around this poor start. Drinks arrived timeously and were delicious (try their chai latte)! Our food was delicious, however dis arrive in stages in fact a few plates were finished and cleared before the last meal arrived which is my pet hate as a diner. I had a toasted bacon, feta and about Sandwhich at R50 which was reasonable and tasty. Overall, it was a lovely meal and day out in the sun."
