"The Hive Bar is a great spot with a variety of vegan options. The vegan cheeseburgers are by far the best the edamame patties taste delicious. You can also get the burger as a double or triple cheeseburger. The menu also has a vegan hotdog, pizza, salads and share plates. They have lots of craft beer and the staff are very friendly. "A small, convenient sole trader with two outdoor tables and a few inside seats and does a good range of breakfast and light lunch options. We like the nutty, bacon flavour of the clogger, though it's filling so we sometimes share it. Prices are around $10 for lunch items. You can get takeaway and eat in the park also."

"Headed down Erskineville Rd on a whim as visitors. Erskine Villa looked welcoming, the staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile - nice decor without being too try hard. We were seated quickly and coffee order taken just about straight away. Ordered food off the interesting and tasty sounding menu. Couldn't locate good ole bacon and eggs for the bloke - was tempted to ask for a deconstructed bacon and egg roll but thought that might be a bit too cheeky :-) The breakfasts - bacon and eggs for my plus one (yes they do serve bacon and eggs if you ask) and scrambled eggs for me on a divine rye with a lovely side of beetroot relish if my memory serves, were generous and tasty and arrived quickly, Diverse clientele (ie mixture of walk ins and regulars). Reasonably priced - and I would definitely visit again. Tip - if you have broad shoulders as my partner does don't sit in the booth about a third of the way in where the blinds hang from the ceiling - you won't fit and I actually found the blind at the back of my neck to be quite annoying - we asked to be moved and it wasn't a problem."
