"I first came to this restaurant because I drove to flushing and it has a sizeable parking lot in front of it (shared with a grocery store and a few other establishments) but I left as a loyal customer. The pho was fresh and overly heavy in flavor. The iced viet coffee was also one of the best I’ve had. After my first visit, I was not writing reviews yet but I have come a second time and now I’m leaving a review.This establishment is very clean, has great customer service, and has a bathroom.We ordered iced viet coffees, a new appetizer on their menu called goi ga, pho chin, and a bun bo hue. The viet coffees are strong and dark but the condensed milk balances out the flavors beautifully. We learned that the recipe for the coffee also called for some hazelnut to make it a little nutty. It’s so good, you must try it! The goi ga was crunchy, umami, and cold. It was a great appetizer and nothing like I’ve ever had before. The flavors blended well together but if you don’t like the flavor of fish sauce, you should probably stay away. The pho chin was great as usual and came out hot. I didn’t try the bun bo hue but my friend gave it two thumbs up!"

"Had a good experience the waitress understood 90% of my order only but I’m happy that she understood it later when I was given the unknown order. I loved the food the toppokki was Rose and it was the best, spicy and creamy. I liked the hamburger steak entree and the oden dipped in the topokki sauce. The waitress also was able to pack us to go boxes which was very nice of her. Yupdduk is delicious"

"Really yum! They had a neat way of creating this crepe! The shell was crunchy and delicious. Very filling for the price! And not too sweet either! You also get plenty of fruit which I like! Gluten free is also available which is nice."

"The fact this is Michelin recommended for 9 years straight tells you the quality of food at this restaurant. The food is delicious and good portions for the price; the value is amazing. You should definitely get the fried rice roll and at least onetype of soup dumpling. The douhua (tofu pudding) is a great dessert to finish with too. On top of that service is fast/verygood. When there was an issue with one of our dishes (we found plastic in it) they removed it from our bill and offered toremake it if we wanted then gave us a discount coupon for our next visit. Superb customer service move."

"Maxi is exactly what is needed! A small charming spot that specializes in doing one thing very well. It?s important to preserve and support HK and Cantonese culture. A world without HK/Cantonese food will be sad. The wontons are shrimp and pork . Maxi doesnot skimp on the shrimp at all! Most places skimp because shrimp is more costly. Some of the best wontons I ever had. Pro moveis to add a little vinegar and chilli sauce to the wontons. The broth is perfect and I confirmed with Maxi she does take thetime to use shrimp peels to bring out that seafood/umami flavor. No shortcuts here. I am pretty familiar with the Chinese foodscenes in SF and San Gabriel Valley (LA). Maxi?s is the best I ever had. The one contender would be the now gone Noodle Boy inRosemead (SGV). This is one of my favorite places. Very homey and very Hong Kong."
