"One of the best! Never miss this place its so juicy, rich in flavor and authentic. They serve fast and the crew are so friendly. There are lots of people dining but they have enough space. The toilet is so clean. I had the chance to meet the owner himself. So down to earth and friendly. He even recomended other places to eat. We will still go back here for more. What we ordered: The best selling pork banh mi."

"I came here after two days of what seemed to be food poisoning. I was staying near the airport as I had an early flight but thought I'd make the effort to travel to a restaurant I had high hopes for and I wasn't disappointed. I had the set menu without soup, the southern style mixed brown rice noodle and black sesame traditional dessert. All was fantastic. From the perfectly cooked brown rice to the seaweed wrapped tofu whose softness and sea flavour from the seaweed reminded me of unagi which I loved in my pre vegan days. The salad was salty and bitter, had good crunch from peanuts and came with a sweet dressing that had some heat to it that was to die for. The sesame dessert was a little cloying but I liked it, not too sweet. Overall a great meal. I ordered a tonne and left feeling satisfied but not bloated, one of the benefits of a vegan lifestyle. Meal came to about £5.30 which is ridiculous."

"Lovegan has moved to new premises in the same alley, it is now in a lovely peaceful courtyard. I sat outside in the Hanoi autumn sunshine today and it was perfect. The food is as good as ever, and the kombucha too! I then stocked up on vegan store cupboard items which are so reasonably priced, for example chickpeas, nuts and dried fruit."

"Both vegan and non vegan dishes were awful. I ordered some veggie pot served with tofu. If it would be first time for me to eat tofu, I wouldn’t eat it again it was plain tofu, no taste falling apart while eating. In additional I found it very weird to discover sole broccoli and cauliflower in this dish in Vietnam (in menu it was said green veggie and pickles, then no pickles and potatoes). The sauce was really really awful. I was really disappointed"

"I went here and got some of everything, another customer spoke good English and helped me order what had luck, but I could through punction and nodding, they were very friendly. I like sweet red beans and mochi and that reminded me. It was very tasty"

"This restaurant is clean, spacious and has 2 dining levels with air conditioning and beautiful Ho Tay lake view. They offer excellent authentic Vietnamese food such as ca kho to, thit ba chi kho, canh chua . They offer fresh local vegetables and home made dishes. We love the Ho Tay hoa qua salad and the cold corn milk drink. Fast and very friendly customer service. This is a highly recommended restaurant to eat vegan food in Hanoi."

"I tried the bbq tempeh bagel and it was so good I ordered a second. I also tried carrot lorax with vegan cream cheese. both delicious. the personal speaks English and I could confirm that everything was vegan from the mayo about cheese and brot. the rosemary lemon cake was so good! I highly recommend it. the place is located in a narrow street from the main road, but not difficult to find."

"Went to the store this evening and requested the traditional mixed bowl with coconut milk and was told no, no coconut milk by the woman, and she pointed at another bowl on the menu. Thought perhaps there was some language confusion so I pointed at the no cow 's milk phrase on the menu and also put coconut milk into Google translate to show her and said I was vegan. She just shook her head, pulled a face, and said no. My partner and I got up and left, not knowing what else to do and feeling very confused. Not sure if she was saying that the bowl I 'd ordered wasn 't good with coconut milk but I 'd seen other photos on here from vegans with the same bowl with coconut milk and also just... wanted what I 'd ordered? Really really disappointed."
