"Visited on the way back from a busy day in Ipswich, just one adult alone with a child. About 5pm on a Tuesday. Food was served quickly and was hot. The tables and restaurant were clean. I sat down at the table, unpacked all the food and got my child sorted, only to find I had forgotten the milk for my tea. The milk was really far away so I couldn’t leave my child, and the food was all out on the table, so I was a bit stuck. I got the attention of the lady clearing tables and asked if she’d mind grabbing it for me and she couldn’t have been nicer. I was so so grateful, and for the little price we paid for our meals, to get that kind of service was amazing."

"My husband and I are regular customers, so naturally we are fans. A warm welcome always welcomes us. We mainly enjoy breakfast, but a gluten-free toast option would be a welcome introduction to the menu. Service is always attentive and top notch, food fresh and hot and tasty. The cocktails are also delicious."

"Cosy old low-ceiling pub with fires. Locals have cottoned-on to the great Sunday roasts here, and I recommend. Been here twice, and enjoyed both. Service was on par with a fully-fledged restaurant, and the roast was excellent."

"We just had the delivery of the darling chicken. could not fail to eat or the supplier came to order in about 20 minutes, it was hot and the man very pleasant. once before only 2 times with them and first delivery. much better than kentucky will reorder."

"I gave the Roast Beef dinner a try today and was not disappointed. Five different portions of veg, roast and mash potato, Yorkshire pudding loads of beef and thick tasty gravy. Huge plate of food served piping hot, lovely food and good value for money. Superb staff and a clean friendly cafe. Recommended."

"I wish I could say above average but in all honesty can’t. Nice friendly place.Not a lot of choice .Food hot and pleasant.Salad a good idea to dress panini but dry,tired and very small..Certainly not expensive but am afraid can not think of any other attributes.Obviously popular as a constant que at the till. That could be due to ifs position next to Ipswich Crown Court where they have no food fascilities."
