"It was a cool grey day so we sat inside. Just ticked the boxes when we were hungry but nothing special. We both had a chicken, lettuce cranberry sandwich just like home. Couldn’t see anything particularly interesting on menu maybe a couple of things but quite expensive. We were able to share a small pot of tea $4.50 which was good as I resent paying $8 for a pot with 1 teabag in it like you do at some places. Staff were friendly/service prompt."

"We found the Wandering Goose by accident one Sunday afternoon and have returned many times. It had changed hands at the end of last year and you could immediately see and taste the difference! The renovated cafe is very clean (tables regularly wiped down which is a refreshing change), modern and tastefully appointed. Tables and chairs are also placed on the surrounding verandah to make the most of balmy, breezy days on the tree-lined streets of Hall. A great cafe stands or falls on its coffee and the coffee at Wandering Goose is great - tasty, smooth and not bitter. We can thoroughly recommend the cappuccinos - made with hot milk, not lukewarm. The cakes are locally made and superb - with special mention of the New York Cheesecake - and the pancakes are delicious! We are vegetarian and there is a tasty range on offer and, if there are hotter, fresher, tastier chips in Canberra, we are yet to find them! You will never go hungry as the portions are generous.Finally and most importantly - the staff. Michane, Chloe and the team are warm, friendly and interested and nothing is too much trouble for them. And have I mentioned how clean it is? Wandering Goose is now our regular."

"Had the pho, fried whole barramundi, clay pot rice with duck, and mixed vegetables. Everything was delicious and service was great - they kept topping up our water, explaining a bit about the food, and the owner/chef came out for a chat at the end.

"The best place to be... for a delicious breakfast with fantabulous hospitality. Me and my cousin went yesterday morning for having breakfast. We ordered the hangover wrap and hot chocolate and latte. We were surprised to see the discount provided by the staff. It was so kind and courteous of him. The hangover wrap was out of the world, a unique one and I've never seen it anywhere else. Bacon, egg, hashbrown wrap... and it was super yummmm.. The way they presented was awesome. Recommend everyone to try out this dish and share their reviews. And last but not the least, the whole menu there is fully customisable. How wonderful that could be?"

"Go to this place almost 3 times a week for coffee and weekly once for Pizzas. The service is quick and crisp. Ample amount of indoor and outdoor space to sit. They have a wide range of sandwiches , salads, pasta and bakery stuff. They also have cheap pizzas on Tuesday ;-)"

"One of the many coffee shops in Dixon. Most of them are very good and this is one of those. It was humming busily on the Saturday morning when we were looking for a light breakfast, basically just coffee. Service was very efficient and the long black and tumeric lattes we ordered arrived quite quickly. The coffee was very good, string and robust and served at the correct temperature; hot enough to release the flavour but not enough to be bitter or scald the mouth. I've had many tumeric lattes at many places and this was as good as any. I like breakfasts were copies of the day's newspapers are available. Credit cards are accepted and disabled can access the place. There are a couple of tables outside too"

"It's amazing how many restaurants are open at 4pm. Luckily we managed to stumble along Asian Tea House. The appearance seems like any Chinese takeaway restaurant, where the counter was piled with duck, chicken carcasses. Colour was nice and vibrant, although the lighting could have...been a bit brighter towards the back. Table layout was very simple, something you'd find at a budget restaurant. Ordering is at the front counter, and the menu was both behind the counter wall, as well as on a piece of A4 paper. The food arrived about 10-15 minutes later which is pretty good. The lotus flower rice with duck was yummy. The duck slices had quite a bit of bones, but otherwise it was tasty. The rice was sticky and very flavoursome. Could do with some roasted nuts of texture, but overall it was yummy. Overall the experience was pretty good for the price. The food were roughly between $10-18 for each dish, which were in large proportions and quite filling."
