"Vegetarian restaurant with a lot of vegan options. We tried a jackfruit-avocado-veggie sandwich 4,50). It was quite busy but the interior and also terrace is spacious so it was not annoying. We had to wait 20 minutes (told on forehand) but it was definitely worth it. The sandwich was really tasty and copious! We had a similar good experience with Chaika in Vilnius. Nice concept!"

"The interior is nice, but the place does not have that many options for vegans. Vegan meals are not marked on the menu, so you have to ask about the ingredients. When I was there, the waitress said (with a sign of doubt in her voice) that what I wanted to order was vegan, as it only has some butter It can be very very annoying to ask every time. The rice they serve is not vegan, you have to ask for boiled potatoes instead. Their cakes are not vegan, either. However, the place is centrally located and is open every day while a lot of other veg places in Kaunas have unpredictable opening hours. Very popular with locals. "I came to this café on the way from Klaipėda to Vilnius (Note that there are 2 cafes with the same name on each side of the highway). The start was quite disappointing the waitress while they knew what vegan is, seemed quite hesitant during the discussion of possible options (later, though I realized it've only been their personality, so if you are able to bypass these, you'll have a much better start than I did). On some questions, how is there egg in buckwheat that she just answered I don't know, but for others, she went to consult the kitchen. She processed some information unanimously so I am not looking forward to my meal at all. I thought it was amazing, dry and finally unsatisfied (all based on conversation with her). I was surprised, however, that the meal was absolutely delicious, she seemed really happy that I liked my meal, and while I was talking about plant milk options (which are not available on this Klaipėda Vilnius side café), she said that we actually went to the other SIDE of HIGHWAY to the other NIKOLA. We looked at my mother when we thought she was a joke. No! There is actually a simple hidden small road from this side of the highway to the other (you can go or by car), and you can really have everything as the other Nikola has the raw menu, as well as vegetable milk for coffee. It is the main café with more options, and a beautiful interior and exterior (plate, benches, small garden). While my introduction to this café was quite miserable, it unexpectedly turned into an absolutely beautiful adventure with delicious food and some laughs."

"Very nice cafe/bakery. We've come around 4pm, so the choice of sandwiches was small, but even then there was a wegetarian option for panini and a coffe with almond milk. The panini and coffee were ok (4.5/5), but i've decided to give 5 stars due to the service the lady was very nice and helpful, and she spoke really good english."
