"Die Waffeln und vorallem das hausgemachte Eis sind der Hammer.Der Laden ist süß, gut gelegen, hat einen kleinen Innenhof und einfach das beste Eis. Das anstehen lohnt sich auf jedenfall und man sollte umbedingt grüner Apfel testen - mit Stückchen!"

"The ambience is beautifully rustic. The selection of dishes is manageable, but good vegan dishes are also offered. On Sundays you should take some time, because usually only one operation is on site and therefore longer waiting times can come."

"Great cakes, big cakes and pastries. The filter coffee is fresh and full-bodied. Breakfast is also highly recommended. Quiches are super delicious. So far everything tasted very good. We look forward to our next visit, hopefully at the latest in December."

"On that windy Saturday I somehow craved for Eraclea (thick hot chocolate) and nodded happily as someone loving took me to Neumarkt spending that short noon gateaway for two... As we arrived it was packed and we were about to leave. Luckily I spotted one...elderly couple (found bunch of them there felt relieved that my little Rascal was away at the inner corner seat group just got the bill. We rushed sneaking to the table as there were other people coming behind us. The waiter lady got the tiny table cleaned quickly and brought us Cappuccino, Fruity Eraclea (in milk chocolate), Tiramisu and Profiterole (also in milk chocolate) rite away after being ordered. Everything run smoothly but there was nothing really special in this Cafe (okay for Price, Service, Taste n Place/Location."

"Cafe 1980 is definitely the prettiest Vietnamese restaurant I've ever seen. No asian kitsch, but warm and yet modern interior. The menu is small, focusing on traditional Banh Mi. Apart from that the menu offers Pho that you can combine yourself, one dish with meat, a salad, sweet potato fries (just great) and a dish of the week. I tried the sweet potato fries which are really big fries, but yet very soft in the inside with a nice hint of tempura on the outside. Then I had the dish of the week, a bowl with beef, rice noodles, some vegetables and greens, all with a nice balanced spicy seasoning. I added a Bia Saigon to the food, which was just the right companion. I was too full for a dessert and chose a Vietnamese iced coffee instead, that is served with sweet condensed milk and was just delicious. Only disadvantage: it kept me awake at night - but the taste experience was worth it. Everything was made perfect by the very nice service. Will soon come back!!"

"I have been in cafe libresso several times. it is located close to new market (downtown cologne.) it is cozy, comfortable and affordable. they can sipe a cup tee or a cuppucino in their free time and do not feel hurried."
