"We have past by this place 100 of times and have never stopped and tryed them out. So today we decided to give them a shot and see if there food was any good. So every thing we order came out hot and fresh and tasted good. The prices where fair as you can look at our bill I have posted here. I would recommend trying this place at least once if you are ever driving by or in the area. We will definitely stop by and see them again.OH AND BY THE WAY only reason I gave them a 4 star and not a 5 is when we got our bill they added a nother 10% to the bill for price increase. Witch by the way I'm totally ok with that because I understand what is going on in the world today. But at the same time I believe they should tell you about the 10% being added when you first arrive instead of placing it on your bill at the end and not even telling you till you see it on there."

"We absolutely love The Source Cafe. The staff are amazing and the food is to die for. Breakfast today was fabulous as always. The most reliable food and coffee in Newcastle! Almond milk available also. An absolute winner !!!!!"

"Stopped in last night for a banana split. Had passed by here several times and this was my first time stopping.. DEFINITELY worth the stop. The banana split was huge. Plenty of toppings, employees were Friendly and courtesy Everything was clean. I'll definitely be stopping by again"

"Staff is nice, good is fresh. Service is good. I've never been a big subway fan, but the roasted chicken was a game changer. My only complaint is $28 for 2 foot long combos in East Tennessee. I can't not tip these folks. It's not the staffs fault. So we walk away with a $34 bill. So we just go less often."

"Update: You can tell a lot about a business by how they manage a problem. I heard from the owner of the shop about my review. Have to say the level of effort he took to reach out, understand my concerns, and share with me how important his customers are made me update my review. Things happen but great businesses thrive because of their commitment to service. Will be giving it another go! Moved to the area in Dec and waited until my second visit to review as wanted to be sure I was fair. Donuts: 4 stars and are good. They focus on a lot of toppings which can detract from taste but their basic glazed is solid. Kolaches: 3 star but are a bit small and usually cold. We bought them for a drive and when we asked is they were hot the staff said yes. They were slightly warm but inside was cold. Service: 1 star as same woman was rude and just unfriendly. First visit was during their anniversary celebration and when we asked a mild aged woman with short hair a question she was rude and unfriendly. Chalked it up to a busy day. This kind of work can be hard. Went back at noon on a Friday and same woman was even ruder. No one else there, we paid and tipped cash. We only got two items. She refused to answer question. When asked about price of T-shirt her answer was I don’t know and no offer to help. When we thanked her she looked at us and walked away. We won’t be back. Donuts are tasty but not worth the lack of welcome. Sad because have had neighbors tell me how great the owner is."

"This was my first visit on the recommendation of some locals. The store was clean, and had a warm inviting Tennessee atmosphere. Here’s what I found: 1) I generally don’t eat coffee shop food because it always seems to be a second thought product. This. Was. Different. The breakfast was impressive enough to bring me back for only the food. 2) The order making process was quick and pleasant. 3) the packaged coffee selection was impressive and I can’t wait to try them at home. 4)it was easy to find a clean and comfy spot the dining room. 5) my order which was three drinks and three meals took 10 to 20 minutes to be ready. Each plate came out separately and slowly. It was confusing for me as a first time customer. 6) I look forward to visiting again."
