"A traditional english mansion set along the busy military road is the last place I would expect to find a tea room but the place offers perfect escape from the hustle and bustle outside its front gates. We ordered the classic high tea, which came with a selection of petit fours, finger sandwiches, cakes and scones. My favourites were the goats cheese and sundried tomato tarts and the salmon blinis. I wasn't quite expecting pasta salad as a petit four though. Quite enjoyed the scones as it was quite soft and airy but perhaps not as crumbly as I would have liked. On the dessert end, the raspberry tart and chocolate mousse were also quite delightful. The rest of the items tasted average but overall the entire tray was quite delectable. Its a great place to bring a close one for afternoon tea or have an event such as a baby shower. Staff here are exceptionally accommodating. They took time to explain all the menu elements and carefully catered to all of our plentiful dietary requirements."

"So whilst I was chowing down on my delicious $9.90 ($10) steak special at the Mosman Hotel, my mate proceeded to inform me of another wonderful deal one can find in Mosman. A $15 burger, fries and schooner of beer (Fat Yak Pale Ale) at Mosman’s Burger Shed. A combo like that for $15 is usually a steal, especially when you consider most pubs will charge at least half of that if not more for a schooner of Fat Yak. Being a burger connoisseur, I was in and we agreed to meet up later that week to spend a worthy $15.  I went with the Smokey Bacon which comes with a waygu beef patty, streaky bacon, cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, pickles and Smokey Shed sauce. My mate just went with the Vintage cheese which is a basically a cheeseburger. Both burgers are served up on soft milk buns. We both paired ours with a Schooner of Fat Yak (naturally, c’mon!) which were poured from the tap at the counter into fancy looking Fat Yak branded glasses. "Was walking in Mosman on a rainy Sunday and came across this delightful Cafe. We didn't have a booking but the staff managed to find us a table indoors next to the fireplace. The coffees were very good and the little almond biscuit slices that accompanied our coffees were a really nice touch. Will drop by for a meal next time we're in the area."

"I have eaten here a few times & have always found the food to be quite tasty but the service could be a bit better.Dined here last night with my bestie, they forgot our order after an hour we enquired to where our food was & the waitress had said it didn't print in the kitchen.On the verge of Hangry, she took our order again & after 10 minutes we had our food. They got one of the dishes wrong but were quick to fix it. Bill = 20% discount.Overall, the place is nicely decorated & the food is quite tasty. The Massaman lamb keeps us coming back despite the hiccups. Would recommend the chicken chili basil noodle."
