"One of a kind ambience in North Vancouver. Don't miss it! This place has an amazing vibe and there's really nothing else on the shore quite like it. Nestled down on 3rd, you can drive past it and not even realize this might be one of the most unique dining experiences here. The menu is fantastic and everything on our table was prepared amazingly. Everything from the starters to the main courses is put together thoughtfully and professionally. The whole restaurant looks well maintained and taken care of. Our server was friendly, courteous and knew every item on the menu well. We will be back. This place is a gem for sure. Dining up front under the skylights is pure magic."

"My girlfriend and I went out for breakfast on a Sunday morning and decided to walk over to Lonsdale to check out La Tasca. It hasn't been there long but hopefully it will be there for a while!It's a small cafe with only about 4 tables and a few seats along a counter near the front window. If you're looking for fancy decor or design you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking for tasty freshly prepared meals this is a great choice.I ordered a cheese omelette and my girlfriend had an omelette with spinach and feta cheese along with a cup of coffee each. The owner Georgio went off and prepared us a couple of fresh coffees and they reminded us of the delicious coffee we had when we were in Italy, the milk is mixed in with the coffee but you can ask for it black. Georgio then went off into the back and prepared our breakfasts with fresh ingredients and from scratch. The omelettes came out hot, with a couple of slices of tomato, a slice of toast and some hash browns. Both our omelettes were tasty and a reasonable size. The tomato was fresh and could have been a tad riper but no complaints, The hash browns came in a cluster, lightly deep fried, were seasoned and quite tasty. Georgio asked us we would like jam with our toast and he came out with a small platter of apricot jam. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was good. It's an ideal spot to go for a good meal and a relaxed environment. He's in the process of getting his liquor license so if you'd like alcohol with your meal you may want to check if they have it yet. There isn't an extensive menu but enough variety that there should be something you'll like. We spoke with a couple from out of town who had been there several times and they raved about everything they'd tried. We look forward to going back and trying something else on the menu!"

"Cosy spot in Lynn Valley with indoor and outdoor seating by the road. We ordered the 2 vegan options on the menu scramble bowl and Benny. We weren’t blown away by either but it was great to see solid vegan options and the atmosphere and service was great. Offered non dairy milk for coffee/hot choc."

"Feels like heaven if you stop by here for ice-cream after a hike. Must get the root beer float flavoured ice-cream if you love root beer! <br/ <br/ Very cute shop selling a variety of items for gifts and souvenirs as well as items to satisfy the tummy: baked goods and sweets, soups, sandwiches, etc. It is a great place for tourists to stop by and check out some local artisan crafts and souvenirs unique to Lynn Valley and North Vancouver."
