"A good, reliable option for vegetarians and vegans on campus. Rice and three items from the selection usually cost RM 5,20. I suggest vegan ask which dishes contain egg, it is usually quite visible, but sometimes egg tofu is used. The indication of vegan will not always be understood (best to ask if something contains egg or milk/butter when it looks oily/creamy). I tend to avoid curry dishes because they often contain milk (although it is worth asking how they sometimes use coconut milk). Rice with three vegetable dishes is probably the safest vegan option. If the vegetarian stable is closed / has limited options, the Chinese stable will make vegetarian (without egg) dishes on request, for example fried rice or noodles (with or without mosquito), as the vegetarian and Chinese stands have the same owner."

"Dapurmas always has a good number of (unlabeled) vegetarian/vegan options, but they must recognize which options are suitable as the selection changes daily. there are always at least two or three simple sweet dishes (e.g. green, auberginen, bohnenprouten,) as well as some sweet dishes with tofu or tempeh (or sometimes ei take care of / ask if they are not safe). kay, the owner/manager is very helpful and will tell them if a dish contains meat/egg/fish etc. the tempeh sambal contains no meeresfruit / belachan and it is really good! there is always a tofu and/or tempo option. sometimes there are vegetarian curries with kokosmilch. a plate reis plus three more items from the selection costs rm5 (if all vegetarian/vegan.) I like you to serve yourself. some of the desserts/snacks are occasionally also vegan, such as currypuffs or kuih e.g. ondeh ondeh."
