"The owners were fantastic and friendly and extremely helpful with our lack of Chinese. But above all, the dishes were fantastic. The Japanese curry rice was particularly delicious, and the rams we had were also wonderful."

"It’s a nice restaurant and a little more pricy but worth it. The normal menu has no english translation but the waitress showed us on her phone the english version and she was really helpful. It’s possible to ask the staff to leave for example milk out of the dish."

"This is a high quality reasonably priced Vegan brunch restaurant. They also have Vegan Coffee that is hard to differentiate with milk coffee. He provides contemporary healthy vegan foods and drinks while inspired by the traditional healthy cuisines. You gonna like each and every dish which is prepared by the happy chef."

"This is a super popular kiosk so do go early and expect a queue. They do recommend that customers pre order by phone to skip the queue. They only serve one item steam fried buns filled with cabbage. Could not see any soy milk being offered. Suggest bringing your own reusable container/bag to reduce waste because they put everything into little plastic bags. There is no seating and the kiosk is right on the street corner."

"I haven’t enjoyed traditional Taiwanese chicken egg cakes 雞蛋糕 since I went vegan, so this was a real treat. Out of six flavors, all were vegan except for cheese 起司 : red bean 紅豆 , nuts 堅果 , chocolate 巧克力 , almond custard 卡士達 , and curry chick’n 咖喱雞 were. The last two were limited time flavors, so you might see something in their place when you go. The original cakes without flavored fillings are ready to go, but she bakes the filled ones to order, so you may need to wait a bit for those. You can only order in multiples of five. If you want five original cakes, it’ll cost NT$40. But if you want flavored ones, five in a single flavor costs NT$50 while choosing two different flavors in any desired combination i.e., one and four or two and three costs NT$55. Among the three beverage options, only the fresh milk tea 鮮奶茶 wasn’t vegan: try the plum tea 烏梅茶 or black tea 紅茶 instead. She also has a stack of old CDs that you can peruses and even take home for free: she doesn’t accept payment for them. I chatted with her while she was making three curry chick’n and two almond custard cakes for me. She threw in an extra original one for me checking in on Facebook and another because I brought my own container. How sweet of her! The batter tasted like it had a hint of lemon, which I enjoyed. The almond custard had small bits of almonds in it. And the curry chick’n was made with potatoes, carrots, and pan-fried battered tofu. So delicious! I was so full from eating all of those cakes that it basically was my dinner. Hoping to try her other flavors next time."
