"I have written a review of the Hotel that includes reference to our dinner here. I score it 3* but this 2*. We found nothing very exciting about any of the dishes and their presentation was not very good either. The prices are high end. The food and presentation are not. The wine mark ups on the bottles I am familiar with were close to 5 times which I see as steep. The menu is not very big and if you stayed 3 nights here I think you would find it lacking in choice although there were some dishes of the day. Our waitress did handle the finding of a piece of stone or grit in my wife's salad well and I told her that on the spot but the kitchen should not have served it and this could have caused dental damage. This unfortunate event has not coloured my overall view that this is not good value and better must be found in the area. Cannot recommend."

"Party of four popped in for lunch whilst in West Bay, pasty was really good as were the rolls, panini and wrap ordered by others. Was expensive as there were no additions to the basic dishes, no salad, Crisps or chips. Staff competent and efficient. Beverages good and served hot. Inventive variations on the standard cafe produce found throughout the country."

"We had a nice lunch in this caffe. really friendly and accommodating staff. the sandwiches were excellent and the milkshakes were so surprised that I had two. a wonderful selection of delicious cakes were available. the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable excellent value for money thouroughly recommend...a visit."
