"Come to dinner with my friend . There is still half of the space available at 5:30. When I finished eating, there was already a line outside. <br/ <br/ Milk-fed veal schnitzel is very simple with two cutlets. The taste is ok but it's really too simple. 3/5 <br/ Iceberg wedge is a refreshing salad dish. I like it . 5/5. Toasted Reuben a lot of beef , with sauerkraut. It tastes so-so. 3.5/5 <br/ Fries w cheese curd gravey This is delicious. The sauce is slightly salty. 4.5/5 <br/ The 3- ways. A combination of three cakes. We choice NY cheesecake Banana Toffee pie Lemon Meringue pie. All fresh and delicious! recommend! 5/5"

"I went to Sri Pinang for lunch with my family and it was a great experience. The owners were nice and chatty who really enjoyed interacting with their guests so the service they provided was really top notch. The atmosphere was alright, a bit too dark for my liking. The food was relatively inexpensive and the portion size was quite big too (especially the Hainanese chicken rice). We ordered from the lunch special, my brother got the nasi goreng and the chicken satay, I got the Hainanese chicken rice and my mum got the prawn noodle soup. <br/ <br/ The Hainanese chicken rice was pretty delicious. The sesame tasting sauce on the bottom of the chicken was so flavourful especially when the rice soaks it up. That was probably one of my favourite parts of the dish. The chicken was moist and juicy, generous pieces too! However, my mum said her prawn noodle soup was too sweet for her preference. <br/ <br/ One of the better Malaysian restaurants in Auckland, I would be back but parking is kind of a pain."

"Got a Lychee Oolong Cheese tea. Very refreshing. The first taster of cheese foam was absolutely awesome and addictive!! I got 30% sugar, so it is not too sweet at all. Good tea!"

"I have eaten at this restaurant for 20 years and it never fails to impress me. The service here is top notch and the food is even better. This restaurant has been consistent for years and the new renovation inside and out looks fantastic. Thanks Mai Thai for giving me years of pleasurable Thai Cuisine dining right here in Auckland.
