"Trained by an earlier reviewer, I called and asked about curs dinner options for a vegetarian. the guy on the phone confirmed with the kitchen and said they could have a vegan dinner curs a. really delicious and beautiful presented meal. Remember that, as this is not a vegan restaurant, they will not be typical vegan proteins like tofu, but for taste, the chef knows what he does."

"The sweet and acidic “pork” is to die. the sauce is delicious and the meat substitute is so delicate. they also have good spring rolls and gyoza. the portions are decently large. the personal is also knowledgeable and will check whether eggs, milk, honey, (and also claws and swirls for those who are Buddhist veg). the only complaining is there are no vegan dessert options"

"English below 元町に今年新しくオープンした、南インド料理のレストラン『インドゥ』へ行ってきました。 店内はカウンターがメインのシックな内装で、高級感がありました。 今回注文したのは一種のカレーのランチセットで3種類のカレーのうち、2種類がヴィーガンでした。 今回選んだのは『カシューナッツと季節の野菜の南インドのタマリンドカレー』で前菜が2種類とスープ、食後にデザートも付いていて税込み¥2420です。 少し高かったですが、私達がヴィーガンである事を伝えると、メニューにないヴィーガンのデザート カシューナッツペースト を出してくれました。とても美味しかったです。 因みにメインはチャパティかライス 南インドのケララ米 を選べます。ケララ米の食感はモチモチのパラパラで今まで経験したことのない面白い味わいでした。 飲み物は豆乳チャイで、これまた生姜が効いていてとても美味しかったです。 ハイクオリティの南インドインディアンレストランはあまりないので、機会があれば是非行ってみてください！ We paid a visit to Indu, a South Indian Ayurvedic restaurant located not far from Motomachi-Chukagai station last month. Vegetarian options are plentiful and clearly marked, and most of those dishes are actually vegan. The restaurant is small but cozy. There are only two tables that seat four each, and ten or so counter seats. The owner and chef were very friendly and happy to explain the menu in English or Japanese. We tried the cheapest lunch set, which included three appetizers, one curry, and a cup of tea with dessert. Each dish was prepared with care, with high-quality ingredients. There weren’t any vegan desserts on the menu, but the owner was able to give us some kaju katli cashew fudge instead. Paired with a fresh cup of soy milk chai, it was a delicious end to a great meal. At 2200 yen before tax , this meal cost more than we’d normally spend on lunch, but it was a worthwhile experience."

"Hidden in the edge of China Town. They have quite a broad menu given the size of the restaurant. We missed Malaysian food so much so we greedily ordered chicken satay skewers, otak, rojak, fried chicken, nasi lemak, char kway teow, banana fritters and a mango pudding with ice-cream for two people. Finished almost everything because every single dish was so yummy. Very fresh, authentic taste and exceptionally generous portions. Highly recommend their chicken satay and char kway teow."

"My cousin and I went the main shopping street in Kannai when we smell the most delicious coffee. so we found mameya; they roasted the coffee beans themselves in the window. to my joy I saw that they had soy milk, so we both went in and ordered ice cream. the coffee has not been disappointed! it had a rich taste that was well balanced with soy milk. together with the environment and the friendly service, I can recommend only one visit. I will be back in any case!"
