"I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and in both cases I had a set lunch menu. I got soup as an appetizer which was way too salty and had way too much pepper for my taste. My main dishes were Nudelauflauf and a burger; I liked them both. Additionally, lunch menu included a dessert which was nothing special but I always like ending with something sweet.Food was served remarkably fast so I assume most of it was done beforehand.Service was bellow average, specially when removing stuff from the table, which was done in a rather noisy way and consistently passing dishes in front of people's faces."

"Very recommended ice shop. We were there with the children and the woman was very nice, the ice is excellent, we had no waiting time and we were even allowed to take our bulky croozer. Absolutely if you're close."

"The drinks and the food are fresh and are made directly at the order. The Ginger Shot is recommended, refreshed and at a fair price of 2 euros. Unfortunately, the door has always been open during our visit, so it was quite cool there."

"We stopped here for a drink after a visit to Miniatur Wunderland. We sat outside and were warmly greeted. We ordered a gin and tonic each and were amused when our glasses arrived filled 2/3 with gin. We certainly had no complaints about value for money! There was one member of staff who was particularly friendly. He seemed genuinely delighted to welcome us as tourists. We didn’t eat here but I can certainly recommend it for a drink if you are in the Speicherstadt area."

"Durch Zufall sind wir in Altona am Hookdogs vorbeigekommen. Schnell gegoogled was es damit auf sich hat und dann doch rein.Als Stammgast bei Peter Pane, erkennt man die Ähnlichkeiten. Aber gut, es war gemütlich von der Stimmung und die Mitarbeiter hatten wohl sehr viel Spaß. Das Restaurant war ruhig und nicht voll, daher konnten wir uns einen Platz aussuchen.Die Karten sind witzig gemacht und mir sprangen sofort die Avocado Fritten ins Auge. - Gleich bestellt mit dem hausgemachten Eistee. Ich entschied mich für den San José und meine Freundin für den Cheese Dog. Dazu Avocado Fritten mit Trüffelcreme.Zum Abschluss noch einen Salted Caramel Milkshake zum mitnehmen. Super lecker und am Ende waren wir sehr, sehr voll.Die Hot Dogs sind ok, da recht groß (Messer und Gabel sind Pflicht), aber mir waren am Ende zu viel Käsesoße und Dekoration im Weg. Ich mag Hot Dogs New York Style...Gray's Papaya oder Papaya King sind mega."

"We found this place at the arrival in hamburg by chance and I'm glad we did this. the staff was friendly and the burger tasty. they were exactly what we needed after our flights. I can highly recommend enjoying a fritz kola as they taste with their burger. my wife thought the fries were better than FIVE-GUYS!"

"I don't understand the bad reviews. We were here with 5 people and were kindly received. Our place was great and the services were friendly and well looked after. Our food and drinks were very fast with us and the prices are reasonable in our eyes. All in all, it was a very nice, cozy evening with you. We'll be back soon."

"Daughter aged 12 loves all things American and was really keen to eat here. Located 30mins walk from central train station in Hamburg, close to university area. Unable to book on-line but got table for 4 as soon as we arrived. Waiters friendly and efficient service. Reasonably priced ... 3 courses for 4 of us plus beer/wine cost 86 euros. Menu varied ... mainly burgers and Mexican options."
