"Yikes, that?s an expensive breakfast for something so dull. The eggs were flavorless, the pancakes tasted like boxed pancake mix, the omelet was dry and boring. The only thing decent with our meal was the coffee and potatoes. Far too expensive for what you get. And our server astounded us when she asked for a bigger tip. We ordered two dishes and our total was $50 and for the quality of everything we received it wasn?t worth much in the end. Wouldn?t recommend. It looked so inviting but ended up being a big, expensive let down."

"I would if given it zero bought a cake said it was 37.99 they charged me 48.75. It’s freaking ridiculous the only think they said must of been priced wrong. Never freaking again. This place sucks."

"Stop on this tone 8/25/2022 to get some cheese pens and honey bbq popcorn chicken. The whole meal wasn't good at all. Especially the chicken. It was all bread without meat. It tasted like the chicken was sitting under a heater all day. I couldn't stop the chicken because it was so bad. The sauce also tasted old. I don't often go to sound because of such problems."

"Tl;dr Worth a stop when you 're in Kingston. Good, but not perfect burgers, great service, and fast. I really enjoyed my cheeseburger from The Grub Hut. It was very good, although I would 've made some different choices about how it was built. I 'm not a fan of the red onions and green leaf lettuce, but I understand that those are considered premium ingredients these days. Give me iceberg lettuce and yellow onions (preferably diced) every time. The excellent patty was under-seasoned and the burger would 've benefited from twice as much mayonnaise. With all that said, I was very happy with my lunch and will visit every single time I 'm hungry and in Kingston. I loved it. Service was much quicker than I expected. I received my very large order within 10 minutes. I expected to be there 20-30 minutes. Prices are fair. I 'd never call them cheap, but they 're hardly expensive. Considering the nice touches, like homemade nacho cheese, I found the Grub Hut to be a real value. Definitely recommended."

"Stopped in for an ice cream cake. Very limited selection as most were already pre ordered with names on them. Young woman did a nice job squeezing the writing on top we requested. Cake was yummy. Best advice is to order days ahead so you get the size and flavor you want. Also got a milkshake while I wad there. Thick and delicious!"

"The burger was terrific, and so were the fries, both spicy and classic. The issue there is that they default to non-vegan, even just for the classic burger, and charge an extra dollar to make it vegan. I asked about that, and the guy said it was the bun. Wait, so a single vegan bun costs an extra buck? Would be wonderful if they defaulted vegan so that there wasn't a tax on the more environmental and ethical option, you know?"
