"I personally feel it was better value before with the other owners, the new owners have jacked the prices up, the place has a cool theme with all the elvis stuff but there product isnt really anything special, frozen fries, and frozen burgers, u do have the option of a homemade burger but the price is out there, the shakes are good, and the steak on a kaiser is good, i do love there gravy, all the original staff is awesome, i used to be almost a daily customer here, i now havent visited in months, mostly due to the prices, either way total review Not Bad!"

"I took a chance after reading the reviews and I lost. I ordered delivery. The $24 dinner for 2 costs $35 with tax, delivery and the Just Eat tip of 10% and the food came quickly but was luke warm when it arrived. Two of the saucier items were all over the bag. They put the greasy somosas in the paper bag with the naan and the naan wasn't even wrapped in tin foil to keep its heat in. Each dish was watery and greasy and one, I am not sure which, was gritty. It was just about the right amount of food for 2 but it was very light on the Peas Pilau - the staple of the meal and I couldn't see any peas at all. Overall impression- disappointed"

"Food and restaurant kind of reminds me of the one in Scarborough I frequented years ago. Burgers, fries and pizza even taste the same. but this one is newer with seating to eat your meal here. Staff is friendly and prices are fair. with so much competition in close proximity I wonder how they will fare. Time will tell"

"The food was amazing, the staff was very friendly. Best Caribbean food around! Would recommend the doubles, its not on the menu you have to ask for them but they are amazing!"

"Dear fellow Meltwich Oshawa foodies , I regret to inform you that it is now under new management. Not only have the prices increased but the quality has decreased. I have been going here with my daughter every week since it first opened. Those of you that like the chicken and cheese(like my daughter) be prepared for Teriyaki and cheese yuk! As I am typing this i still feel sick to my stomach (literally just came back from there) not because of the insane price hikes but mainly because as I was taking my second to last bite of my standard burger (which is now 7$ compared to the 5$ it use to be) I discovered a hair that was the length from my wrist to my elbow (NO JOKE!! I THREW UP) in-bedded in the patty!!! thankfully that location has an amazing staff and refunded my money but the new management has absolutely no clue what his customers want or need. If you are a regular or even just enjoy the food be prepared to be disappointed. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING THERE EVER AGAIN!!! and its a shame because my daughter and I love it and the staff."
