"Great concept and was great to chill with good music and sit in the window chill area. Unfortunately waited 25 minutes only to be told it's cash only.......and on return waited another 30 minutes for our drinks. No second round as we live in a cashless society. Good, but not there yet....."

"I have been coming here for years. The homemade ice cream is very good. Strawberry cheesecake is my favorite. There is a nice variety, and they have soft serve as well. The milkshakes are also great. They have a nice selection of sandwiches and meals for lunch or dinner. There is counter service and booths inside, and you can order food with the car hop if you don't feel like going in. The owners are very personable and make everyone feel welcome. "This particular five guys is outstanding... Took my 6yr old Sun there for the first time he said it was the best burger place he's ever been to.. 3 weeks later he wouldn't shut up about taking him there for his birthday dinner when he turned seven so naturally that's where we went and he had a ball.. he didn't care for the flavor shake he orded so they let him order a different one free of charge that he loved and they let me have his which I love so we both made out on the deal.. every staff member that I interacted with was extremely personable and friendly each time I've been there"

"This one is for the MANAGER of the restaurant if we can call them like that... We arrived at 9pm and wanted to use the toilets TO WASH OUR HANDS before eating. The employee refused us access as asked by his manager. We then asked if we could get a hand spray or desinfectant ... there was absolutely no hand disenfecant dispenser for use which is very concerning... Then, one manager in charge gave us tables cleaning product to spray on our hands instead me a kid without even asking for skin allergies or health issues first... Now, arriving to our table, we discovered it dirty like many others there was no rush and plenty of employees present but none willing to do their job apparently. This situation forced us and 2 others clients to wipe and clean our tables ourselves. While eating, two other women begged to use the toilets. They got denied access as well... I 've worked at McDonald 's and never heard about such a rule requesting the managers to close the toilets while clients are still eating and for no emergency reason such as defect or flooding. Before leaving the premises, I asked the employee if the toilets were functional and they were! Now, I 'm kinda forced to question the kitchen hygiene if there is none for the clients ... ??? Just to let you know, I will send this complain to McDonald 's NL HQ as this is not the first time please read other comments below. I will also inform the hygiene département NVWA about this concerning issue. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"
