"Two friends, living 75 miles apart, we like to get together for a meal, usually breakfast. We were giving this cafe a try. First the good: By roadside cafe/diner standards, the food was excellent. My over easy eggs were correctly done and the pancakes were as good as any I remember. My friend 's omelet was excellent. The service was friendly and generally excellent. The coffee was good cafe coffee . But no more than warm, even when refilled or warmed up . Since the refills are delivered from insulated pitchers, I did not wish to mention the problem more than once. It seemed out of the servers ' hands and I felt it inappropriate to bother them--they were busy--with something they couldn 't control. This really detracted from the total experience. Tepid coffee is a downer. Considering the care that seems lavished on the food, it is confusing that something as important as breakfast coffee is treated this way. Five stars for the food. Three stars at most for the visit. No return by us."
