"Walliserkanne offers e variety of typical Swiss (Valais) food and a range of local wines. The qualitiy seems to be less impressive than few years ago, the presentation of plates lacks love and estetics. Rösti was not cooked well and not fresh. The restaurant was half empty at 20.30 hrs. Service was fast but minimalistic."

"Service- they weren't friendly and they forgot about us for a long time. They didnt give us menu, they didnt give us a table for five persons. Lets say - the staff was lazy and they weren't welcoming. But the most awful thing was that we ordered salad with prawns. They brought us a different kind of salad. After we asked for salad with shrimps after a long time of waiting, they brought us the same salad but with shrimps on. Also the pizza and paste tasted kinda boring.The restaurant got me very mad."

"We had been skiing on the blues and reds above Riffelberg and decided to try out the buffet and bar. As the weather was wonderful, we ate outside with a fine view of the Matterhorn and other mountains. The Riffelberg is just beside the station and at the bottom of an important chair lift.I had a Bratwurst and chips as well as a bottle of mineral water. The cost was steep at CHF 27 and I was refused tap water. In spite of the expense, the location made our meal at Riffelberg memorable."
