"I have booked this restaurant online and I received a confirmation email back to say my table is reserved. we went to my birthday on Saturday 18th juni. I made a booking for 5 people. when we arrived, I had a book under my name that the old man turned around and said I had nothing on my paper for 5 people under this name. he told me I can't have booked this and told him I got a confirmation email back. He didn't want to know he was leaving that you could have a table outside. he was pretty rude. So we went to the cold to see my phone for the email. when I found the email and went in to show him, he found us surprisingly a table. No, I'm sorry that the mix is or I'm sorry that it's rude. So it didn't go well at night. the waiter we did not smile, put the menus on the table and went away. we ordered our drinks that they have grounded and our meals. my daughter had to wait 10 minutes after we finished her meal. I ordered the spaghetti and was boiled. the lamb was beautiful, the calfsmus was very small. my daughter ordered the cabonarra that she ended to put in a take-off court.l had high expectations to this restaurant was very kidnapped. will not come back. at least they didn't charge me."

"There was 3 of us for dinner, and we ordered the garlic focaccia for our starter and this was tasty. we all ordered the Veal Parmigiana and yes it was huge but tough, tasteless and my plate was left with all the crumbs. the chips were very yellow and tasted like eating strips of flour."

"We were a large group for dinner and often this presents a challenge, but the University Cafe handled it well. We ate upstairs, and the vibe is classic Italian cafe, with affordable hearty food. We opted for the house red and white (probably a mistake) but the food was very well presented and hearty. The spatchcock was perfectly cooked and delicious. Other friends were very happy with the risotto and pasta dishes. This is good, wholesome Italian food for a very reasonable price. Long may it flourish!"

"La Spaghettata was nice and it offered good value for money. The food was OK, but thereâs definitely better spots on Lygon St. Service was a bit slow, but, to be fair, they were fairly busy. I was unhappy as we got seated by the front door and it was unpleasantly cold, which meant we had to eat while wearing our winter coats â that wasnât an enjoyable experience. Would I go back? I doubt it."
