"Really let itself down. I have had some great meals here in times past but not today. Charred black burger buns, cold raw burgers and no-one asked my guest how they wanted them. I flagged up the completely black bun offering and was told it was 'chargrilled ' and no offer to replace. I was embarrassed to have recommended the venue."

"Went here for lunch today and was very pleasantly surprised. We sat outside on the Patio at the front which was in the sunshine. The table was clean and comfortable. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. The menu was excellent, plenty of variation's all of them appealing plus three different specials (main and some additional starters). Deciding what to have was the hardest part. Eventually my sister chose the Chicken Shawarma Salad with warmed Middle Eastern Chicken Breast, Quinoa Tabbouleh, Pickled Red Cabbage, Beetroot and Cumin Hummus, Mint Raita and Flatbread at £15.50 which looked fantastic and she tells me, tasted excellent. She struggled to finish but it tasted too good to leave. I went for the Spicy Chickpea and Nut Burger with Iceberg Lettuce, Tomato and Mayonnaise topped with Onion Marmalade in a Ciabatta Bun plus Fries and House Slaw £15.00. This was a great choice, tasty, filling and very healthy. We had a soda and lime plus a pot of Tea. Total Bill £35.60. A great Pub, great Food, Great Service. Whats not to like. The down side? It's a bit difficult to get to. The lane leading up to the pub is narrow and passing spots are limited. But worth the effort."

"Correct hardworking metzger, sainsbury is only on the road, no more, have a metzger, as result they do not have a clue about meat, but these people do. They are reasonablely expensive, independent whatever is important, and understand what they are, the customer service is excellent and smile. a business that needs support, in these days, if they cannot find a metzger .."

"I had never tried Spanish cuisine in my life. My partner suggested we go to this place for dinner. He beat the tempura prawns and the much famous chicken and chorizo Paella. Traditional Sangria was like my drink and ended with Churros. It was from the world and we swallowed the whole thing (Paella serves two). The girl that served us was called Shy. She was very polite and smiling. The restaurant was less on staff, but she (Shy) was very much composed and took orders from each table, managed the cleaning of tables and any other work very well. She was helped by the bartender (depending on his constant alcohol orders) which I found very remarkable, as it became difficult during the peak season. I'll visit this place next time I come to Bath. Shy, 5 stars for your hospitality"

"One of the best if not the best Indian I ever had. since I like really spicy eating that the cook made for me a soak and put it in a small pan when I said it was ok, but not spicy enough that they came with a second and that was spicy. starter were amazing eating was amazing service was excellent. in any case an attempt for anyone who likes Indian cuisine! if I start 6 I would."
