"Remarkably good dim sum in an obscure place. It's very out of the way, in a strip-mall that looks like a set of a zombie apocalypse movie. (There is literally a video-movie-return-bin rust out there. But the food compares favorably with quite a lot of all the places I tried in the Bay Area where competition is considerable. The sesame balls were probably the best I had with an unusually crispy exterior. The muted pork chops were large and fluffy, with a subdued sweetness in the dough and actual slices of pork inside (instead of using the chopped mint mosh many places). I was also impressed by the... you know what, fuck it. I will finish this review here and just eat there."

"I absolutely love these cupcakes! Favorite frosting is chocolate ganache and their cake is always so moist. Simple selection beacuse greatness doesn't need fancy flavors but they always have the flavor of the day for fanciness. The building is super cute with a historic Chico brick wall and the employees are always super friendly! I go home for the summer but if I need a cupcake, I still come to Denine's!"
