"This is one of the famous pirates of cuzco. most guests will be native, even during the high tourist season. here they find everything that the mountains can offer, and the mountain fish (la truncha, from puno, I think) is the best. They cook it with butter, so the result is finger licking. also service is super fast and serving are huge!"

"We where a group of 4 people having the 5 course set menu. Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience. Although the content of the menu had an interesting and Peruan touch, the tastes of the food and the introduction of the food was a huge disappointment. We were hoping to get a taste of Peru, but similar food we've had at markets and other restaurants has been a far greater experience then the one served at Senso. Real lack of taste in every course other then the dessert, and untaught staff with no more introduction then "here's your food". The wine pairing was however good. Based on the quality of the food, it's a very overpriced menu that I would not recommend to anyone."

"We went in the other night for dinner here and were looking forward to some good quality Peruvian food. I saw the reviews and thought it was going to be really good..First off I ordered a trout dish with quinoa and veggies. What I was brought was SALMON? I took a bite of my quinoa and felt something really hard so I spit it out. Didn't think much of it and ate some more, same thing, something really hard, felt like a rock. I had my husband eat some and same thing happened to him.So we decided to ask the Waiter about it. His answer: This is traditional Peruvian food, very authentic. We said : "Its traditional to have rocks in your food? He said: yes , it is less processed than the kind you normally have where you are from.We tried one last time to tell him this is not okay, we could have damaged our teeth and plus we did not eat it. To no avail he would not discount us or give us anything complimentary..We were VERY disappointed in how this was handled and will not be returning. We even asked a local Peruvian about this and he said..."rocks in your quinoa?? That's not traditional , they just didn't wash it well.." He felt bad that our last dinner in Peru had been so poor.I don't recommend you eat here unless you like rocks in your food."

"The staff is ok, the bathrooms didn´t have water, the food is ok but the prices is a bit expensive because it´s not that good. Tried in several nice restaurants in Cusco for the same price and way much more yummy!!The only plus is the drink "Chica morada" and well to make it work they gave us a fake 5 sol coin..."

"I came here three times, twice for ice cream and once for cake. They don't produce italian style gelato, so don't come with that expectation, but their ice cream flavours were the best I had in Peru. I love tres-leches cake and theirs was amazing! Their service can be a bit disorganised and slow though."
