"It was again as far as the precision sports skills demanded a refreshment. Since such an approach is carried out in the circle of colleagues, of course, with the necessary physical use, the output resources must also be refilled. for this purpose, the byblos, which were located in relative proximity to the competitive location, offered themselves. How easy to recognize the names is a restaurant of the Lebanese orientation byblos north of beirut and in the past was an important harbour town under changing kleptokraten. we were able to look forward to the Arabic cuisine with various appetizers and grill dishes. due to the short distance and due to the termination of the Tuesday evening we were even blechkasten parking lanxion time before our tireless pedal trip included in the restaurant. this part of the forbidden city does not seem lucracy enough for the local household renovation shake, there are many free parking spaces, the restaurant also offers guest parks. the shop is two-part left the spacious restaurant with winter garden, right a Lebanese snack, both seem to be served by the same kitchen. it was not really well visited, with exception of us about three or four other paying tables during our stay, in the industry often referred to as "dead dance". Accordingly, the motivation of the service employee seemed to be at -273.15°. c and quietly different. at our arrival we were greeted with a friendly distance, we were able to pick up a table very quickly the cards came and wait for a colleague on our note, the waiter moved. the map, also available on www, offers a wide range of small appetizers, salads, suppening, grill and Lebanese specialties. interesting is that the writing of the individual dishes partially deviates from the listing in the menu strongly. desserts is not found on the map. in the background next to the counter, however, various sweetnesses are directed pyramidally under plexiglas hoods. there was no indication that or how to order it. as little as drink. the rather half-hearted glowing statement: “Hat gutckt!?” of the service during the respective removal of the plates we confirmed a little more comprehensive, unfortunately only a bad sign came back. also the desire of a colleague after a piece of sweetness presented during the preservation of the obligatory tees was confirmed, but never implemented. Today, at least only the non-preventive measures were achieved. three of us chose the menu “MÄSA byblos EXTRA” for 24,50 euro each, with eleven different starter components and a three-part main course the chips do not count with . as the appetizer the cubed cheese was ordered to 3,60 euronen, as it also belongs to the menu that was part of me hoping something bigger. the mezze cold hommos mild spicy cheeky crepes, barely garlic, for this sesame paste tahina noticeable. 3.5* mtabbal similar to hommos, by the other basic auberginen- instead of chickpea pear, somewhat fresher in taste. 3.5* a fresh cheese cream again with a small garlic, very refreshing through the mint. 4* warak inab wein leaves, filled with rice, petrazilie and tomato, as well as richly known from other medium seas, do not disturb. 2.5* tabbouh here and today apparently in the variant without wheat scrap, so rather a very finely chopped tomatensalat. 3* tadjen on the map as “Cutted salmon fillet, boiled with swirling, garlic, coriander and tahina”, we have not received this. there was no indication of why or that the second dish with labneh should be a compensation. 0* slenderly after my feeling, the best appetizer of the evening, really good tasted cheese with sufficient garlic, very sharp. even if not, as is actually typical, served in a dish shape with crimped coat. 4.5* warm falafel cheeked cheeked pebbles with raw food plate. well seasoned and delicious along with the cold crèmes. 4* sambusik BIL-LAHME also the teig bag filled with oriental spicy lamb, very aromatic 4* fatayer BIL-SABANECH a bit boring the teig bag filled with spinach. 3* kibbeh miklieh also season the fried bark balls with oriental touch. 3.5* were added inlaid chunks, pep p eroni, a sharp Ajvar-like spice and fladen brot. so for the wind altogether good 3* the most important food lahem mischwi juicy and delicate lamb cooked on the spits, neatly seasoned, very nice. 4.5* as well as chicken meat, which was cooked and was marinated alternately with puff pieces on the spits. 4.5* kafta mischwiyeh satisfied grilled and very well tasted the unfortunately somewhat clear lamb copper steak. 4.5* all together in a flat brot, a little salat and ... batata miklijeh obviously homemade, fried potato slices, unfortunately mostly soft and not chessy and hardly spiced. 2*. sedr habash the thin cut, marinated and grilled truthahnbrust was also juicy, along with the tk vegetables, the same kartoffel slices and some salat a good choice. 4* besides the potato slices, the warm food 4* seems to represent the core competence of the kitchen. if the appetizers were somewhat better implemented and braver flavored, they could definitely recommend the byblos in terms of the kitchen performance. Perhaps the desserts would have pulled out something, but they were withdrawn, as mentioned at the outset. if the service is safe for a snack, there is a great lack of restaurant. the Lebanese weeping, however, would have been interested in the entire “work avoidance” of the service, but would have distanced me from the relevant questions. with the well-received colleagues it was a nice evening."

"My boyfriend can't eat gluten, very sensitive, ate the red curry and the summer rolls and loved it! They have gluten-free options on the menu but not very well updated so ask your waiter when you order a dish if it is gluten free for sure. Food is amazing, we did not experience any issues."
