"We did not expect such a place in Wittenberg and were surprised by the huge selection of vegan cakes, some also raw and/or gluten-free. Also beautiful outdoor seats in the beautiful courtyard. You should try if you have the chance. Update August 2022: the cake is still good, but the service today was unacceptable. I reserved a table for our group one week before and received a positive confirmation. As it rained today, I called to make sure we get a table. When we arrived there, the two teenage girls at the counter (the employees open) knew nothing about our reservation. So we had to wait until a larger table was available. After we had set ourselves, we waited for the waitress to take our order to the table as she did with other guests. After this did not happen for 15 minutes, we went to the switch to order. Coffee and drinks came after some time, followed by a single piece of cake (from the six we ordered after another 10 minutes or so. My cake pieces arrived 45 minutes after our arrival. (We're talking about cake waiting at the fridge two meters next to our table and the café was half empty. After asking for the rest of the cake pieces, another one came and the info that the rest of the pieces had to be prepared, which lasted another 20 minutes. After 80 minutes we complained and asked for our order. It would take another 7 minutes (sic! the waitress said. So we waited 20 minutes. Then we got up, paid and left. At this point, about two hours after our arrival, a person of our group had received everything they ordered, a part of what they ordered and a no cake at all. There were no excuses or explanations from the waitress and I have the impression that she didn't notice anything, went wrong with our visit. In fact, we wanted to show some non-vegan friends how good this place and their cake is. You can imagine how this visit has reached the whole opposite.
