"Stopped by this shop after the science museum. The gelato was amazing and the neighborhood is great for walking too. We plan to head back next time we are in St. Louis! The iced coffee was also delicious!"

"This was such an immersive experience! Small Change is cool bar in the Benton Park neighborhood and I 'd been wanting to visit.... Turns out this was a good night to check them out and experience The Miracle! The holiday decorations were 'magical ' and literally wall to wall! The staff was festive and kind! They all dressed in holiday outfits. What 's cool about Miracle is that they brand EVERYTHING--the glasses, the coasters, the drinks, the snacks. I also really appreciated that we were able to walk in and enjoy the experience--no reservation required. We tried the Feliz Navidad (great Mezcal cocktail...I really liked it but can 't think of what it reminded me of), Holiday Hopes (similar to a Manhattan), Elfing Around (like a great holiday brunch cocktail...a little sweeter than a Poinsettia), and a Christmas Cricket (which tasted like an Andy 's Chocolate Mint)! We also decided to buy some Miracle swag, which was reasonable priced and super cute festive!"

"Alrighty, it's been 6 months. 5, roach-tastic months. I've accepted the constant pet urine, parking lot (and permanent damage to my vehicle), the broken elevators, the fighting in the parking lot, the revolving door of evictions, and the laundry situation. Accepted that nothing will change, because the entire situation is a whole case of the tragedy of the commons (including the property manage folks). I've gone from being terrified of cockroaches, to accepting that I can't be a little weenie about them because IT. HAS. BEEN. CONSTANT. I had perhaps 3 weeks (when I first moved in) of roach-free life. The tenant across from me then had his room sprayed, which led to the entire floor being infested. My apartment has now been sprayed 5 times in the last 4 months, and I'm constantly finding more to kill, every single day. I'm looking forward to winter in hopes of getting a break from the tiring onslaught of cockroaches, and being constantly ready to obliterate them. Maybe this is normal downtown, but man, I've never encountered this issue, even living in the hot and humid south. I can see that CityView they've paid for Yelp premium, as the photos they uploaded are featured instead of what's most recent. Definitely wish I'd checked around before moving here."

"Dedicating my 600th review to the restaurant I have probably been to the most in my life. I was surprised that there was a restaurant on campus, but I soon learned that this was a blessing in disguise as the amount of meal points you can use here is wonderful. Since I always have too many meal points, I frequented this place A LOT. It seems like where they make Ibby's food is the same place where the make DUC food. The only difference is that Ibby's food is plated and therefore, seems fancier. I came here typically more than 3x a week so I have had the opportunity to try their menu many times over. Here are my favorites: Banana Foster Best dessert on campus no cap. The vanilla ice cream works perfectly well with the very sweet caramel and brownie. This may also be my favorite dessert because I never had a Banana Foster before coming to WashU but this thing is seriously good. Parmesan Fries They come with a lot of entrees so you don't need to buy it as a side. The fries are ridiculously good crispy on the outside and mashed potato consistency on the inside. One of the things I will definitely miss after graduation. Fish anything Whether that's the lunch buffet option (pre COVID) or dinner, get the fish. It's so tender and I feel like the quality is pretty good. Brussel Sprouts WashU makes the best brussel sprouts in the world. It's so weird that this is their specialty but they roast it until its very crispy and full of the vinaigrette, lemon flavor. Steamed Green Beans Simple but delicious. The one thing is though they don't give you a lot when you buy this item, so you might need to buy 2 to feel full. Calamari I know that WashU is not near the ocean but it may as well be. The calamari is so good, I definitely have eaten just this dish for dinner many times. I think the reason why it is good is because of how much parmesan then put on it and the tomato dipping sauce is awesome. I miss the buffet, so the buffet. So the reason for the 4 stars is because some of their food is pretty questionable. Sweet Potato Pasta used to be pretty good but now its just a white sauce mess with chickpeas and mint? It's a weird combination if you ask me. The Bistro Salad is also kind of gross, but also I don't love beets. Also they stopped changing their menus as much during COVID which is pretty disappointing. Overall, really great campus food option to kill some meal points. But if I was just a regular visitor on campus I would not come here. The prices are just not worth it. Go to BD or DUC instead."

"The custard is decadent the chocolate has a deep, intense flavor though the vanilla is a tad sweet for me. Wide range of toppings and additives available. Best of all, the staff are always extremely polite and professional. They actually seem to be enjoying their jobs, which speaks well of the management."

"I enjoyed the food and the service was good! The coffee wasn’t like I love, but the Greek salad was great! Actually, as an Israeli, the hummus wasn’t so good and I think it was too sour, so I would suggest to substitute the hummus and put chickpeas instead."
