"A few months ago we were there with friends to check out if this was a good place to celebrate over the christmas period. It was supposed to be their Duck period so that is what we were expecting to eat. Unfortunately the Duck was finished and we opted for goose. I would say it was less than average and we should have probablt looked elsewhere for the Christmas bash. As it was we decided to go ahead and we asked if there was a set menu or a la carte during the christmas period, we were assured both were possible. When we arrived at the prescribed time we we well received and the waiter took our coats and led us to our table. It was a set menu and apart from the starter soup it was pretty average. I had beef and the others in our party chose different options. This meal was so insignificant I can 't even remember what exactly the other ate. Everyone mentioned how indifferent eveything was and we even complained about the dessert which was a selection of seasonal options. The creme Brulee was milky, the Lebküchen mouse was very gelee intensive and the other bits and pieces too boring to mention. On the whole my two experiences of this place have been less than average for a fairly expensive restaurant. There are a lot better options around."
