"I just went today with my sisters, it is my first visit and I was anticipating as I have heard about this place before. I ordered a tonkotsu ramen and when it came, it came as half a bowl!!! I took a picture after mixing the noodles (shown below) and no, this picture is exactly right after it came. See the small portion?So I asked a staff how come there's so little noodles (vs. the ones from my sister which happens to be same priced, also $8.95). And the noodles are NOT cheap, they range from $7 - 15/each. My tonkotsu ramen has only 3 thin slice of meat btw and just a few strand of bean sprout with little soup. And the staff said, "oh the noodles are all the same, this is how it is. There can be no change." Honestly, I was never offered half a bowl of noodles in a restaurant before. Even if little noodle, at least pour in more soup! So I asked, "Ok....this doesn't look right at all, look, they only filled half my bowl. What about giving me more soup then?" And she talked back, and say no there's no extra soup. Extra soup has to be charged and no the noodles is reasonable and the same. Extra noodle broth has to be charged?? And when I compared my noodles and my sister's noodles (just noodles), mine is obviously lesser by at least a handful. Ok, this is it for my first and last visit to this place. As I finish my bowl of noodle, I feel like eating a bowl of soggy noodles with no soup. I barely had any soup to drink. And I have to get charged. Terrible customer service from the staff (girl who tied hair and no front fringe unlike the other girl). She was loud and talked back no matter what I asked. I just asked for soup and see no reason for such objection. I don't think the soup cost more than losing a customer. Never again!"

"This tidy little Danforth eaterie was a big surprise because I've never had such delicious broth in my Nabeyaki Udon! I tried my friend's Tonkotsu Ramen dish and it too was fantastic. Whoever is cooking in that kitchen really knows what they're doing. This place is going to be a new favourite of mine, especially when a big bowl of noodles and broth is what's needed. They have sushi and other dishes as well; if what we had is any indication, they should be very good. Service was polite and efficient."
