"This place is in a weird little strip mall, and has a spare ambiance but the food is really good. They have lots of different vegan options but we always get the Bi-Bim-Bab vegan style with the organic tofu or just veggies and top it with the hot sauce. The bi-bim-bab no longer comes with egg, but it can be requested if you're vegetarian. This is a Korean dish that is typically served on rice but Cup of Peace serves theirs on a mix of grains and rice (looks like cooked Kashi) and it's really yummy. The veggies are cooked cabbage, squash, zucchini and raw carrot/cucumber. In the past, this dish was served hot with the cool veggies on top (and so yummy but on our last few visits it's been served as a cold dish and it's not nearly as good that way. They have unusual and tasty teas as well (including really unusual honey-teas for vegetarians or people who eat honey) and Chai. Reportedly, the kim-chi is vegan but I'm not sure I trust that since the majority of kim-chi is made with fish paste and I wasn't sure that the lady at the counter knew the answer. They have a vegan puffed rice treat that is really good too it's like a Korean rice crispy treat!"

"Japango is the best Japanese cuisine I have had in Colorado. Not only do they provide quality sushi and sashimi in generous portions, but they have a wide selection of saki, which always puts a smile on my face. If sushi isn't your thing, Japango has a variety of dishes from barbecued whole squid to the mile high tofu (my favorite) to satisfy all tastes."

"Most authentic sushi in all of Boulder. The chef has been doing this his whole life and the food is incredible. The sushi bar is fresh and delicious. This is definitely a relaxed atmosphere and a slower dining experience and remember that authentic Japanese cuisine isn’t served at once so best for a date night versus bigger parties. I love the intimate atmosphere and authentic character of the restaurant. We’re lucky to have it in Boulder!"

"A must visit dining experience in Boulder. It's expensive, but worth it. I personally prefer to order Omakase where the server will pick the dishes for you. They take your dietary needs and preferences into consideration, and you get to try dishes you may not have picked for yourself."

"Great little modern sushi bar in Japanese restaurant. We particularly like that agedashi tofu, black miso cod, and spider roll. Waygu is bomb too. Plenty of rotating special sushi, and nagri. It’s really fun to sit at the bar and talk with the chefs about what they have on offer. Highly recommend!"
