"When I first visit this restaurant, I hate to stop before. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. First time we had no idea what to eat, but our server was very friendly and patient with us. I noticed that it is more economical to share Entrees instead of getting individual records."

"Great place great food! good service. the only case is the communication barrier. her English is well sketched. still, if they want good quality sushi, fresh with generous portions. this is the place my family and I eat here at least once a month. the fish is always cooled and has a good level of fat and beautiful texture. I'm very picky. especially when eating raw food. that brings my sushi business every time. several other places to eat sushi, most of them over price, over rated, with smaller portions. I don't like paying for rice and seaweed. kudos to the crew in mahzu."

"I will generally not eat sushi when I am out of town because I am always disappointed, this place has excellent sushi. we talked to the chef who grew up in japan, he was really in the technique and preparation of his sushi. he took care of the rice, a good sign for a sushi place, he also stressed knife work. the quality of the seafood itself was also pointed notch. they had fresh uni on the hand and it was brilliant, he put a hauch of wasabi underneath and it was a pleasant surprise. I was in japan and while I'm not an expert, the concern and the thought that here went to sushi very similar to what we experienced in japan is to find this very difficult in the states with their standard sushi connections."

"Gainesville has a really good variety of food restaurants, likely because of the diversity of people around the University. Dragonfly has probably been our favorite restaurant in Gainesville for the past 10 years, until today. I know the head chef left, as last time I ate here was his last day in the kitchen. We shook hands and enjoyed a great meal. Today, there was actually a lot wrong with dining at Dragonfly. One of our favorite starters is the sautéed edamame, with the wiggly fish flakes on top. First batch came out extremely salty. after sending it back, the second comes out mostly burned. we order our favorites. There is the regular menu and then there is the hidden menu. ask for it, it has some off-menu good specials that were once on the menu but comes off. One of the favorites is the Eurotrance roll, from the off-menu list. Clearly who made it had never done this before, very messy. My Absolute fav is the Yellowtail Haku. Very, very tasty and on the regular menu. Alas, it never came. By the time I asked where it was, it had been forgotten. By now we're kinda done. Paid, left, had dessert elsewhere. Our favorite red wine was out of stock, edamame salty then burned, fav roll order forgotten, eurotrance a mess. Overall a BIG decline in quality. in 10 years we have not had a bad night at Dragonfly, until today. Degraded for sure."

"I love Hana Sushi I always order here. I just tried the new Bazai roll and its good. The only issue I have picking up an order is if you dont have the DoorDash app ready to show the person your order pick up, there is no signal in the building. Have the DoorDash order ready before you go inside."

"My family was super excited to try this spot as we typically love a ‘cook your own meat’ styled restaurant. We were pretty disappointed in our experience for a few reasons. First, the service did not really correlate to the type of service you would expect at a place where you are spending at least $35 a person. It was somewhat unprofessional feeling and just not great service overall. Second, the meats were just underwhelming. The cuts were fatty and knives are not provided- so this led to a strange predicament for us where we had to attempt to use our teeth as saws to eat them, especially the steak… I don’t enjoy writing a bad review, so I will keep this brief, but just know when you are going to Beque Holic, do not anticipate a high end dining experience. I hope we just came in on an off day, but something tells me that we didn’t.."
