"One of my favorites! Super chill, but amazing sushi. Intimate (small) sushi bar which is great for hanging out at happy hour and chatting with the owner and his co-sushi chef. Everything is delicious, creative menu based on good flavors, not gimmicks. All the staff is great, honestly."

"We came on Monday night and there were so many open tables, but we had a 35 minute wait. Participated in their happy hour and yet, the bill was still pricey. Probably would've had the same bill somewhere else. The sushi wasn't really that special and the specialty drinks tasted like cheap alcohol. Played rap the whole time and we felt like we were in a club that couldn't hear each other. Wish I could have experienced a better time, especially with all the hype this place has on social media."

"This place is an absolute gem! Maybe not for the ambience but if you're looking for beautifully made sushi and some of the best miso in town, you can't go wrong here! All for a price that's impossible to beat. And if you want more scenic settings, the gorgeous waves on Mission Beach are a short walk with take-out. Definitely recommended!"

"I will preface this by saying that I am not a sushi connoisseur and have probably only had sushi about 10 times in my life but I really enjoyed the rolls here. Particularly with the fried rolls you can?t really taste the fish but it?s the sauce and the texture of these fried rolls I really enjoyed. So even though in these cases you can?t taste the fish it?s very tasty food which is why I?m giving it a 5, especially for the fair price of the rolls. With the normal sushi rolls it is easier to taste the fish e.g. when there is a big piece of salmon on top, and there is no sauce to overpower the fish taste, I thought these rolls were also good. So if you want to get more of the natural fish taste steer clear of the fried rolls and rolls with a lot of sauce (even though these are very tasty in their own right as I mention above)"
