"Seoul Korean is hidden away in an alleyway and I suspect that's largely why the restaurant was empty when we visited for dinner. The food was not particularly outstanding, but it was not bad. I tried the cold noodles, which came at an absolutely massive serve of noodles, but without enough toppings to even out. I ended up only eating half of the noodles. The noodles had a nice bitey texture and were cooked well. The broth was lovely and delicate, and not overly salty like how it often is. It was served with half a tiny hard boiled egg, which had been so overcooked the edge of the yolk had turned grey not a particularly appetising appearance. I also tried what I thought was a vegetable...read more"

"Tried some worts found (mul naengmyeon cold nudelsuppe). so refreshing and exactly the right amount of sourness and a haze of sweet. the portion is really generous so I couldn't finish the whole thing. very good for the price also tried the bossam, although they do not really give them a lonely kiss to wrap the boar with. it comes with rice and a few nebel( suppe it is really good. with the spoon of a little tear and immerse in the suppe, a piece of pork and grab a couple of thorns and rettichsalat and put everything in the mouth and they get an explosion of aromen"

"Despite a change in style where you cook and stir up your own dish, the ingredients are really quite basic more for those times you want a simpler meal. This is the second time I've been to a Pepper lunch, with the novetly aspect gone there's nothing too special on offer. Staff were rather straight-faced, average service. It was dinner time and there was still plenty of seating."

"Good ravens! Not mindblowing, but a very good standard. They sung my order, but I enjoyed the rams they chose for me anyway:"

"After reading so many great reviews here on TA and being big fans of Japanese cuisine, we thought this was definitely not a place to miss while on our recent stay in Adelaide. What a let down. Maybe coming from Melbourne we're spoilt with a myriad of fantastic restaurants which do simply gorgeous food that we had a higher level of expectation? That's the only reason we can think of to explain the reviews here as compared with our own taste experience. Anyway, we ordered the Beef Tataki, the medium size Deluxe sushi and sashimi platter, Tempura Soba noodles, and a couple cups of green tea. The beef tataki was a real let down. The beef slices were too thick so it wasn't all that good texture-wise due to that fact and the curing juices didn't do it any justice either, not enough acidity. The flavour just wasn't there. My partner didn't mind the Soba noodles but for me it was only ok. The tempura items were also not very nice. The batter wasn't as crisp and light as most of the more mediocre Melb outlets. The sushi and sashimi platter was the only fairly decent dish. There were a couple of sushi rolls there that were really nice as it was an it smokey but the rest of it was average, not any better than the kind of sushi and sashimi you can find just about anywhere even in shopping mall food courts. I don't know how they can get this wrong but even the green tea was bad. It was very weak, it was mostly just hot water, and was just lukewarm, not hot. They gave us a complimentary bowl of edamame but this also was below average as they weren't fresh and plump but small, shrivelled looking peas and the flavour was not all that good. We left most of it. I'd only be able to rate this place 2 stars at best. At least service was quite fast especially considering it was pretty much a full house and a relatively big restaurant."

"Called in here with my family (2 kids) for a quick dinner after a busy afternoon shopping and it was a great experience. Its a small place, with all the seats arranged around the train. The sushi is excellent and the staff very attentive - anything not on the train is easily ordered and arrives quickly. The prices are very reasonable considering the standard of service and the quality of the food (under $70 for 4 people, including beer with the meal for the 2 grown ups). The nature of the place isn't conducive to a long romantic evening meal for couples, but highly recommended for a solo or small group looking for a quick meal with sensational fish and great value."

"The best sushi I have ever tasted in my entire life! Enormous vegan range and so much to choose from. Great spot for dinner if you've got a group of people with a range of dietary requirements/taste preferences! Can't wait to be back"

"Tried this place a couple times, it isn't bad but certainly isn't the best. The sushi is pretty average and the pricing isn't the cheapest. Honestly there is much better and much cheaper sushi in the area that exceeds on quality and taste. Not bad...though."

"After hearing mixed reviews about this restaurant, I was anxious to try the food myself and I was pleasantly surprised. The service is down to earth yet professional. The food? Almost everything we ordered was simply delicious. The dish of the night for me was the Orgy of mushrooms which caught me completely by surprise given I'm a huge meat eater. I found myself using the butter sauce as a dip for all my other dishes. Could not go wrong with the charcoal wagyu steak with the greens.<br/ <br/ Finished the night of with a New York cheesecake and a macaron. Again, these were delicious. The beauty behind the macaron was that they used vanilla yoghurt for the cream so you get the cool texture running through. The only thing that didn't seem to quite fit in the menu and particularly catch my attention were the duck fat chips.<br/ <br/ Another stand out restaurant if you're willing to fork out the amount."
