"3rd time here and the food changed. They throw spicy sauce on everything. We ordered a side of potato and octopus. It was disgusting. Bland potatoes and slimy octopus. I think the octopus was canned. Fried fish was decent but they presented the fish on the corner of the plate with 2 sauces. Looked awkward and had no effort. Service was pretty good but I don't think worth the automatic $100+ tip they charged us. Especially if he forgot one of our orders. Your service should be spectacular for a $100 tip. $700+ for 5 adults and 1 kid. drinks, 4 main dishes, 3 crab cakes, sashimi, 2 side dishes, and a happy meal."

"Lovely service. Most of the seafood is not local, some seafood came from Peru and Nigeria. That being said, the paella was delicious, as was the flan and Cuban coffee."

"Red Ginger’s ambiance is an experience in itself. This is one of the most beautifully designed restaurants in Miami, complimented nicely by top-notch service and lounge music. Service is professional and attentive – food runners, bussers, and other servers will all assist you at some point during your night. Our server, Carlos, exceeded any expectations we held. Never have I gone out to eat and been so blown away by the staff’s menu knowledge. Upon greeting us, he took it upon himself to overview each section of the menu and made insightful recommendations. This was much needed, because the whole menu sounds amazing. Throughout the night, he ensured we were happy with our choices and took great care of us. Carlos put all other service experiences we’ve had to shame. Take note, Red Ginger – this man deserves a raise Per Carlos’s suggestion, our table ordered rock shrimp tempura, miso sea bass, mizuna salad, Hamachi crispy rice, R.G. fried rice, El Mar ceviche, and a sashimi platter. There is not a single negative comment to be made about any dish. Everything was spectacular! Most notable is the sea bass (melts in your mouth), Hamachi crispy rice, and mizuna salad (even if you’re not a salad fan). Chef Anderson even personally came to check how we enjoyed our meal – great touch! Never have I had dinner like I did at Red Ginger. Because of the service and food quality, we will doubtlessly be returning. New favorite restaurant on the Beach!"

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."
