"We celebrate my mother’s birthday on the Friday after Thanksgiving and have been coming to the Rancho Mirage Roy’s for years. There was an issue with their online reservation service and even though when we showed up they did not have our reservation, they honored our time and immediately sat us. Excellent meal and service, as usual. Our waiter, Spencer was awesome as he has been in the past."

"If you dine here, be sure to make a reservation. We went without one. Although they accommodated us, it was made clear we needed to be done eating by the time the table was needed in an hour for a parties that did make reservations. I felt unwelcome and rushed. Not a single smile from the elderly server. When the time came for the parties who made reservations to arrive, the server came and said something like, Ok you finished. I said, If you need the table, then we are. If you don 't, we 'd like to order dessert. They didn 't even bother to factor in that the kitchen took a while to prepare our meal. Wish we ate dinner and spent our money somewhere else."

"I had been turned off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came off like), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"Our service was very good, very help full and cheerful. Dragon roll looked like a dragon, sushi boat had very good sushi on it. Chicken katsu don was crispy on the outside, very tender on the inside. Sweet and umami flavors blended perfectly. Atmosphere was alright."
