"We had dinner here on holiday in wroxham. a really nice experience that was eating was delicious especially the sea bass for the main course, but the highlight were the deserts that dad won this with the cheesecake, one of the best we tried!"

"Very disappointing. Afternoon Tea at the adjacent Orangery used to be excellent. They have now moved it to the so-called Pavilion whilst the Orangery is being refurbished. The Pavilion is just a glorified Portakabin. The whole event has been dumbed down. Scones and cream should be accompanied by home-made jam, not a jar of Tiptree. The cream should be Rodda 's. The tea was in teabags rather than loose-leaf with a very limited selection; the palace teacups were chipped. Pastries were disappointing as were the sandwiches. Service was poor with the napkins arriving at the end of the service. No offer of a top-up of tea. Very poor value at £50 per head inc service. Now just a tourist trap. And no sign of the odd royal! "Fred Smith at the Admiral Codrington is becoming quite famous for his burgers and a trip there to sample these was long overdue. When Fred did a Burger Monday, it sold out in 5 minutes leading to a unique extended run, Burger Tuesday such is the respect his burgers now command. And with the past week seeing much Twitter excitement around his latest creation, a 'Double Cheese Stack Burger ', The Admiral Codrington has been at the front of our minds this week, so when we found ourselves in Chelsea, hungry, and with a couple of hours to kill, dropping in seemed like the thing to do. Now, the Admiral Codrington is what we 'd call 'a proper boozer ' and if it 's a pint and a packet of peanuts that you want, that 's available right there in the front of the pub. At the back of the bar however is a separate dining room, complete with retractable glass roof where Fred can be seen in the kitchen working hard to keep his many hungry customers satisfied. "Sometimes people give the restaurants in east london not enough credit. safe, tower hamlets has not just a large amount of Michelin Star food, but as our new visit to my old place shows, there are some serious candidates hidden. in contrast to my old place place, whose modest interiors completely hide the fantastic offer, palmers restaurant looks the part absolutely. yes, the restaurant is tiny, but it is also bright, clean and demanding, so much, so it is a figurative light fire that radiates against the otherwise gloomy bethnal green."
