"So we bought a groupon deal for this restaurant and we are glad we did it. immediately after the entry we were greeted and all those with whom we had interaction were very friendly. the food was incredible (the pfefferkornsauce was beautiful) and the steaks were simply so cooked. we've both been kind of dessert. the only critique (if it is even a critique) is that the place a bit on the small size, but it was cozy and well designed. we will definitely return a day!"

"Two minutes out the Sobs door, walking home, we decided that we simply couldn 't wait any longer and grub needed to be consumed on the hoof. I know this isn 't any sort of fine dining experience, but I do expect to get what I asked for. And for it to be, at very least, warm. I 'd rather eat my own foot than spend money at this fast food establishment again. My advice go elsewhere."

"Genuine Indian veggie food. Vegan friendly with friendly staff and a happy vibe overall. Food is very nice, they run a buffet service, as much as you can or want to eat for under 7 quid. Large pakora’s, at least 4 different curries with nan and plain basmati rice always on offer. Beers are a bit pricey to go with your veg curry but hey, if your looking for a filling cheap well cooked Indian, can’t be beaten."

"Myself and my partner were in Edinburgh for his birthday and our anniversary and had seen the amazing reviews online about this place and wow it did not disappoint! We booked in on the Friday for my partners birthday and it was so good we actually cancelled a reservation we had for another place on the Sunday for our anniversary and rebooked to go here again. The service, food, wine and atmosphere was all absolutely outstanding! We can’t recommend the place enough and we’ll be making sure we visit every time we come up to Edinburgh. Special shout out to the manager James, Zoe the host, Jessica, Marta and Davido!"

"It was just one of those occasions when everything seems to go wrong. The source of the problem was that none of the staff had much grasp of English, and I think it was everyone's first day at the same time. After a while you felt like you were in some kind of comedy sketch. Over the first 15 minutes I ordered our drinks 3 times to 3 different people and eventually got them. I ordered fish with cauliflower cheese instead of chips. 5 minutes later another member of staff comes to the table and says fish only comes with chips. I managed to negotiate having fish without chips and a side of cauliflower cheese. My fish came on a wooden board with a side of cauliflower cheese in a dish, so I asked for a plate A big white round thing that you eat off which I eventually got. The fish was not fresh but probably Tesco's own brand, deep fried. I'm sure lots of people have had great times here, unfortunately, not me."
