"I didn't know what to expect, but overall the food is excellent. Before pandemic, when I went from this place, it was alive with an abundance of patrons, loud music and a lot of sociality; a true Cuban atmosphere. It was a bit underestimated when I visited. Only the café area was open, but I had ordered online for pickup. All went smoothly and I like the convenience of prepayment The order was not completely finished when I arrived at the time, but shortly after. Also the expected text notification that the order has arrived at 5:04. A little glittering. I ordered the following Jerk Grilled Chicken Wings: They were just fine, and did not have the punch of spices I expect from Jerk Caribbean food. The side of the blue cheese dressing was usual. The wings were well cooked and fleshy. Bistec Encebollado: a Ribeye Steak that I have rarely ordered medium. It was perfect, a beautiful cut and succulent. The potatoes and onions with it were great, delicious and perfectly cooked. A very good dish. Empanada Pollo: The online menu has only beef, but I saw another menu with chicken. I asked and understood chickens! The empanadas are large and full of meat and taste. Some of the best I had in the Bay Area. Comes with a beautiful Zilantro sauce. Arroz Con Pollo Fricassee: absolutely delicious and a standout entree. The chicken is plentiful and falls tenderly from the bone. The rice was flavored and incredibly good. Tostones con Mojo: fried plantains that radiate taste and quite tasty. They come with a fresh and light diving sauce. The consistency was a bit too crispy for my taste. Grill Pan Cubano: I was curious about Cuban bread and there were fresh and large cuts that were actually grilled with a light spice rub. It's good. New Havana salad: very fresh and full of green and special extras, such as black beans, mango, tomatoes, beavers of Manchego and bananas (plant perhaps? The dressing was delicious and had a fruity taste. I just wish they would tear the greens some as you get huge leaves to eat...ok, a knife to eat it! Not everyone in the kitchen was fully masked, but they were to do with the public. I feel for those who work in restaurants today. TIP WELL! Overall it was great and I would like to return for more. "This one is a bit difficult to review because there are a lot of factors coming into play for this review. Overall I 'd give this place 3.5 stars, but I 'm deciding to round down to 3, and here 's why: customer service: it was like the military in there. Very strict and not really friendly in my perspective. The person in front of me was struggling to order and was just asking simple questions such as if one of the sausages was spicy or not, to which the cashier lady said, I don 't know, whatever it says there. And then she repeated the question, Do you want just the sausage or as a combo? 3 times with a slight attitude of annoyance. She didn 't have much patience for customers; makes me not want to go back if I feel bullied just from ordering. Then it got to my turn and thankfully I was prepared but she just wanted answers quick. It was not a welcoming ordering experience. Behind me, it was a cop that ordered next. the cashier then made a bad joke before he ordered, putting her hands up and saying, Whatever it is I didn 't do it officer! to which he did not laugh. pricing: as the youngins say, expensive 'AF '. 1000% not worth the price. Everything is over priced. Combos are supposed to be a value for you, but the combos just made your meal even more expensive. The cheapest thing I got was $9.50, for essentially a hot dog with 2 toppings (I had relish and onions). It was maybe worth $4.50 at most. MAYBE. Totally got jipped. I feel like paying $9.50 for what I got, it should have been A5 Wagyu hot dogs. I also ordered pretzel sticks for $7. Honestly, not as bad of a deal, but for the 3 sticks that you get along with the 2 actually generous sized dips, it should be $4.50-5 for fair pricing. timing: I placed my order at 1:11pm and it was ready by 1:22pm. I understand that they had to maybe bake my pretzel sticks so that they 're fresh and cook up the sausage nicely, but 10 minutes still seemed like a long time for just a single hot dog. I 'm used to Costco having your hot dog ready to go in seconds, or even Top Dog heating up your dog and taking 5-6 minutes, but not 10. It 's not just the pretzel sticks that caused the delay either, because the person in front of me that ordered a combo also got his food 1 minute before I did. taste: I ordered the cheddar brat (smoked pork and white cheddar) and what I did not expect was to burn my tongue and mouth every single bite. There should be a disclaimer of some sort. The outside of the dog was already warm/cooled down, but biting it releases oozing cheese that I would normally be praising, but in this case every time I bit into it, hot lava cheese came out and burned my tongue and mouth--it was really annoying. No way you could just blow on it because the outside was already cooled down. I didn 't expect to bite into it and burn myself doing so..... I do like the variety of add-ons you can add in addition to the 2 included toppings. You can add your own ketchup, dijon, spicy brown, garlic mayo, curry ketchup, or honey wasabi dijon (which is what I got). Not a bad variety to choose from. Then for the pretzel sticks, the flavor was nice when they 're warm, along with the house beer cheese and honey mustard dipping sauces. The beer cheese was good but not great. I was confused because of the coloring. It looks like it would be sweet like white frosting on a cinnamon roll but instead it 's beer cheese. The dijon mustard was ehh...I would have rather added in one of the other sauces from the pumps. I would totally go back to try out other flavors of sausages. But not at these ridiculous prices. A one and done for me."

"First time here. Order at the counter, bus your own table no frills. Food had good flavor, but my salad was dry (even with dressing). I think if they are going to have dine in service, then they should have staff to accommodate. Very pleasant people, though!Food: 4/5"

"The service I received was not good. I got to the restaurant around 11:43 I had an 11:45 reservation for 2. The restaurant was very quiet as the lunch surge had not started and there was only one other table being used. The hostess was not at the hostess desk so the bartender came over to help me. I told him I had a reservation. He looked somewhat confused and asked me if I wanted a booth? I said sure but he did not direct me to any particular table and did not give me menus for me I was waiting on a guest arriving at 12. So I sat down at a table marked reserved , thinking that was my table since I had a reservation for 2 and it was a table for 2. So, about 7 minutes later the hostess comes out and says I 'm sorry but you can 't sit there . I explain to her that I wasn 't even seated so I figured this table was mine since I had a reservation. Mind you, it was only me and one other table at this point so there were about 15 empty tables around me and the hostess is telling me I can 't sit at the table I 'm sitting at?? Anyways, I let that go and she finally gave me menus. My guest arrived and we ordered. The food came out in a timely manner but my guest was never served the iced tea she ordered with the meal. I had to ask for it again once the food came out. My water was only refilled once close to the end of the hour, and it was empty for about 30 minutes. Food was very good and fresh, but the service was terrible."
